This is...??? where did this come from? the main update page ignored it, and it doesn't seem to be new... I'll give it a try, maybe review it, since there are none.

I... I didn't really expect this to be accepted actually. I guess it is Mario related as it is a WarioWare clone, though.

I hope you all enjoy it!

Thanks! As for the engine, pretty much everything was done from scratch. It wasn't based on any engine nor am I planning on releasing one.

....

Why not? I'm sure that there are more people who want to make a WarioWare-like game just like that.

would you release your own game engine for other people to rip-off (I wouldn't)

Um, it seems to me this big "should he release an engine" argument is a moot point. Why? Well, since every microgame is different, what kind of engine COULD be released for Warioware, even if he wanted to? Maybe the codes related to the timer and speeding up, but not much else.

For the number of downloads, it seems only a small number of people are actually playing, judging by the score lists and achievement numbers. Maybe people aren't realizing that you have to be online to play and thinking it just doesn't work on their computer, you really should have put a warning in the description.

I don't get it. I'm online and yet it still says"Unable to connect to server while trying to check for newer versions.Your v-ware version may be outdated! All online interactions will be disabled." -_-

I'm guessing you forgot to let the game through your firewall. Of course, that means it can't connect.

EDIT: double post caused by Internet explorer failure

Double Edit:

ERROR in
action number 1
of Key Release Event for <no key> Key
for object object138:

Error in code at line 11:

if global.myversion != global.tempvers[1]

at position 32: Unknown variable tempvers or array index out of bounds

I tried rebooting my computer, reinstalling from the zip file, and even redownloading, but nothing worked. the unusual thing is that it had worked for a while, this isn't one of those errors that pops up the first time you run a game.

Sorry, my fault!
My site was down so the game was unable to retrieve the latest version. It should work now.
My apologies.

I've also sent a new version converted to Vista with one new microgame and some fixes for problems found.

Theres only one new microgame because I released it in a hurry, mostly because of the glitches fixed. Now, it is possible to play offline as well.

so, once the update is accepted, will I have to download the new version to be accepted by the server? I wouldn't mind that much, but, will the highscore lists be reset? I'm very proud of my scores in Frantic Mix and Eternal Lift.

EDIT: wow, I didn't even know this was classified as a demo! I thought that it was complete! So you're planning on adding several more microgames, then?

Have you tried the Game Maker Vista Fix? I think he used version 6.0 or 6.1 of Game Maker for this game, and that seems to not work for Vista. I had the same problem and I used the program and it worked.

The program can be found in the 'Misc' section.

I can now play it, and I think the gameplay is great, but the graphics are low-quality(no shading,semi-badly drawn,etc.). But whatever, this game's great!

So it's here then? I don't know why they wouldn't announce on the main-page like they're supposed to... anyway, I'll download it as soon as I'm done downloading VinnyVideo's "Super Mario Steroid". Stupid slow dialup, chugging along at 1 MB per five minutes...

And SupahLuigee, the Graphics are SUPPOSED to be like that, and you'd probably know that if you'd played the game this was based on, WarioWare.

Yes, the slight update has arrived indeed.

Not much changed, though. Mostly bugfixes.
I will bring better updates in the future, for sure!

Also, the average score went down to 9.7 somehow, how weird.

I found a glitch! In the flapping game, if you hit the button fast enough, you will go off screen, resulting in automatic win.

I figured that out too.

It doesn't work at high speeds, though, so it doesn't work in Frantic Mode and it can't be used for infinite points when playing the isolated microgame. Not that big of a deal for me, since I never play the standard V-Mix.

Someone else, no, at least 2 people must have reviews queued for this, that haven't been added yet, one "9", and one "10".

Sorry about the double post, and excessive commas :(

Not so soon, unfortunately. I'm hooked on another project at the moment.

I plan on adding at least 20 more microgames for the next version, though.

EDIT: Oh, and feel free to leave microgame ideas here if you happen to have some, and it may make it to the game. I already got some nice ones from Twistendo.

20 MORE?! That's DOUBLE what's already there! I just hope they're better than the paint mixing game you added for that last update.

P.S. What's the other project?

Yeah, ColorBlender was kind of rushed... Next ones are going to have the same quality as the first 20 ones.

The other project is about Mega Man, so it won't show up here. :)

Not publicly available yet, sorry. It's essentially a revamp of Mega Man Online (coded from scratch) since that project has an amazing concept but it is rarely updated and lacks many, many features it could have to be awesome.

On-topic, maybe the game got old and not many people are still playing it anymore. I shall do better on next update!

It's just the WarioWare concept, which is related to the Mario universe, and that's exactly why I thought it wouldn't make it here.

If the staff feels this doesn't belong here, they are free to remove it at any time.

On the other hand, I'm glad you had fun with it!

Have you not played WarioWare? Try tracking down a used copy of Mega Microgame$, they're hard to come by nowadays, but they're fun. Not the sequels mind you, the original Game Boy Advance version.

WALUIGI LIKES THIS.

Seriously, this is awesome. I love WarioWare. :D
This makes me wanna play WarioWare D.I.Y. much more now.

I got you some minigame ideas:
> Count! - Type how many objects there are on screen. Use the KEYBOARD to type in those numbers.
> Stomp! - Press SPACE when the running bug is under the giant shoe.
> Escape! - Twist the maze around with the MOUSE so the ball escapes the maze.
