General Commentary and Game Overview
This game, for whatever reason in this world, gets a ton of flack for essentially putting ponies in the world of Mario fangames. Truthfully? I don't see why people keep getting so worked up about it, you're acting worse than some of the more extreme bronies you're all hating on! Now, hear me out, I'm not defending all of one side and hating on another, that would be silly, but for the most part no one has came up with a valid reason for why they dislike this mix other than "it's weird". Well, you're on a website where we make fan video games dedicated to an Italian plumber who eats mushro- yeah, that joke is pretty old at this point. So how does the actual fangame hold up? Let's find out!

Pros Engine is good for what it's worth
Entertaining plot (admit it, you laughed)
Certain level of polish
Nice use of original concepts!

Cons Graphics re-sized oddly
Level of polish unfortunately ends after a point, particually at sprite-level
Wonky controls

Impressions
Gameplay
7 / 10
While the controls are easy to get used to and don't require much knowledge to get into it, the game pretty much throws you in the level and you really have no major idea what your abilities are! Top that off with some slippery physics that don't mesh well with the controls and you have a very clueless player. The game also sports a very unique special ability system, but the simplicity of the levels themselves make it a bit jarring, almost a wasted opportunity.

Graphics
6 / 10
The graphics clash. A lot. Of course, to rub salt in the wound, they are also re-sized to an almost hideous extent, with a bunch of artifacts around various sprites, and missing pixels on others, it's definitely where the polish and care for the game comes to a halt, which is very unfortunate, seeing as how if he took the time to make everything mesh well sprite-wise, this wouldn't be a problem at all.

Sound
7 / 10
Some pretty nice music we have here! Chiptune soundtrack, pretty decent sound effects, and a nice selection of tracks to help it going, even if it's only a few of said tracks for now. Overall, nice!

Replay
3 / 10
It's a demo, what can you say? Not much to do after you complete it, I'll leave it at that.

Final Words
5 / 10
The detractors of this fangame focus on what's easily the most unimportant aspect of it, while managing to not focus on what's actually not good about it. In the end, I hope the creator fixes up the sprites and makes the game less... flat feeling, for lack of a better term. Do that, and you would really have a winner here!
