General Commentary and Game Overview
Let me just say that I loved the original Paper Bowser World. It was a laugh and a half through both game modes, and now that it's back with something of a puzzle element, I expected something really kinda freakin' cool.

It came close, in any case.

Pros + Hop'n'bop or bash'n'crash... how do you play?
+ Something of a puzzle element, kind of, but walkthrough walls do not fun make.
+ It's a laugh and three halfs!
+ I really like SPM "8-Bit when huge" thing
+ Nice music for the most part

Cons - Slow. Really slow.
- Puzzles are easy
- NO WALKTHROUGH WALLS
- Fourth world... if you can call it that.
- Infinite lives, therefore really easy

Impressions
Gameplay
7 / 10
The same ol' gameplay we've come to know and love from the Bowser segments of Paper Mario 2. Except this time, it's a whole game! And what a game it is.

There's a grand five worlds (four in my opinion really), all of them very unique... in the way of naming, however, it's... Mario-y, to say the least.

What you do is basically bash 'n' crash 'n' hop 'n' bop through the levels, all the while monitoring your health. If you run out, you restart the level (the lives system is once more removed to be closer to the original Bowser segments).

As before, Bowser has his fair share of pre-level quips, and a lot more than the last time. He also comments on the signs throughout the land, which seem to react to him. Bill Board makes a comeback?

However, he obviously needs to go on a diet, because he's awfully slow. To make up for his slowness, he can breathe fire on anything in his way, excluding anything fireproof. He's also got quite a jump.

Collecting various types of meat make him shrink and grow. When he's tiny, he moves fast and has a massive jump, but one hit will do him in. When he's gigantic, he's also 8-Bit and can smash through anything in his way without taking damage, for a limited time.

There's also switches placed around the land that activate and deactivate certain types of blocks, which you have to hit in certain combinations to reach the goal. Unfortunately, often times they are far apart meaning you have to lumber around and hit them.

However, it's a well made game despite the rather large setback of speed. And it just makes it feel like Bowser, anyway. Though I did imagine him to be faster.

Gameplay gets a seven.

Graphics
10 / 10
The graphics are beautiful. They fit the Paper style like a glove and look good to boot. It hardly needs to be said that they're some of the best on MFGG.

You win a ten!

Sound
9 / 10
The sound is great. Most of the music is pretty good, and the sounds are perfect. I really don't know what else to say here.

Sound gets a nine.

Replay
2 / 10
Once you've beaten the game, there's hardly any reason you should play it again. Seriously. Once you've beaten it completely, you're done and you can leave it on the shelf... or recycle bin as it were.

Replay gets a two.

Final Words
6 / 10
It's good! Wait... we're checking the instant replay... ooooh! That's gonna set them back pretty bad, Tim.

Wait, what's this about walkthrough walls? You mention it twice in Pros and Cons, but never in the review. What do you mean. Invisible Switch Blocks?

He may mean bricks that you can just plow through by walking like in the first one, or I could be mistaken.

In the desert level, there's some walls you can
walk through in the maze bit. I'm not mistaken, am I?

That's what I mean. They're not a major hassle, I just don't like them. I only mentioned them in Pros and Cons because they're really not that big of a deal, just something I don't like.

Oh, the desert maze! Yeah, I figured there would be some people who would dislike that. Ironically, one of the other reviews praised the game for having that maze.
