General Commentary and Game Overview
This is pretty much your standard beginner platform game in Game Maker. It's not all that terrible but it's certainly not great either.

Pros + Controls work for the most part
+ No gamebreaking glitches

Cons - Tiles don't tile
- Graphics clash
- Background is stretched
- Meh level design
- No backtracking possible in the first level
- Not really all that new concept

Impressions
Gameplay
6 / 10
The game works and there weren't really any gamebreaking glitches. I didn't get stuck anymore, climbing worked, so the game's at least playable compared to some other games. Still, the gameplay was very basic and plain and wasn't particularly all that fun to play through. The concept itself is nothing new - you just have to find all the toads while collecting coins for score. Why Mario is eating Toads is beyond me, but that's anyone's guess. The level design was okay at best, but I didn't find it all that interesting and you can't even backtrack in the first level in case you miss a toad because of a jump you can't make.

Graphics
4 / 10
SMW and SMB3 graphics is not exactly the best thing to choose from, especially with all those custom sprites on this site. The graphics don't really go together well either, even though the Toad sprite kinda fit it. At least the SMW tiles got upgraded to some kind of NSMB look, which feels a little more refreshing at least, but the center tile doesn't even tile, which kinda ruins that. The background is stretched over the whole level which just looks bad.

Sound
7 / 10
Sound effects were alright and so was the music. Not quite exactly special, but at least I haven't heard those tracks 1000 times already.

Replay
2 / 10
Not really. The game was uninteresting and there was nothing to be collected, nor was there anything special about it that makes you want to replay it.

Final Words
5 / 10
A standard platform game where you gotta find all the toads while collecting coins. The concept is very generic and the game's really not all that well-made, even if it doesn't contain any gamebreaking glitches. It's playable, but whether you really want to play it now is up to you.
