Staff changes

Please welcome our newest staff member, toodles_team. His job will be to sort through our backlog of GameMaker howtos/tutorials, and keep moving them through as they arrive. Hopefully any of you howto writers will no longer be discouraged by the jammed queue. Also, Elly will be stepping down as a quality control moderator by his own decision. Please thank him for the work he's done, but at least he'll still be hanging around the forums. |

Hey, folks. Toodles Team (aka Super Paper Toodles) here! I figured I'd introduce myself for those of you who haven't heard of me. As Retriever II said, I'm only in charge of Game Maker How-Tos. I have all the versions of Game Maker except the Pro version of 7, but I'm planning to get that one too. I'm usually on here everyday at some point, so just send me a Message if you need to get ahold of me. I've already gone through most of the How-Tos that were in the queue, so hopefully you'll see yours up here soon.

IF you have game maker 6.1 pro you can get 7.0 pro for free by going to yoyogames.com =)

heh, that's good. I though it was kind of odd seeing mine in queue for over a month, but I knew it'd get on eventually. It's good to see a new helping-hand help clear out the queue. It's really too bad about Elly. He looked like a promising staff member. |

Congratulations, Toodles Team! I actually knew a bit before this that he had a staff position (so did a few other people), but it comes as rather a shock to me that Ylle's leaving the staff.... Thanks, Ylle, for the work you did here! |

As for the staff pages, I'm still working on the new icons (since Stix has been busy). Yeah, there will be a total of seven new ones, so it may be a while. I already have six of them sketched out however.

Hey, go on ahead! =D Your icon was the one I haven't sketched out anyway, and it would be a big help. Just try your best to make it fit the same general style as the rest of the icons. |
