It is normal for your first digest to contain old comments. If you recieve more than one of these extraneous digests, please send me a message. This feature, as well as comment PMs in general, can be disabled from your preferences page. I've finished the third minor update, TCSMS 0.8.3. The theme of this update is handling the large ammounts of activity that I never expected. Usability and appearence should be noticably improved in a few areas. Here's a rundown on the features and improvements: * The pagination has been changed to a condensed format typical of most modern message boards. * Only the most recent 2 version updates are displayed on a submission's page. The rest are viewed by opening a new window. * Comments are now paginated, with 40 displayed per page. This will speed up submissions with hundreds of comments. * Comment pagination contains a "Last Unread" link that will take you to comments made since your last visit. * You can now turn off the "comment received on your submission" feature * To help save more space in your inbox, you can be alerted of all comments on your work recieved while offline in a single digest. This is the default setting. * Text box sizes have been increased for comments. * You can now view submissions even while they're in the queue for updates. No more "you can't go there" messages! Bug fixes: * You will no longer recieve messages when you comment on your own work. ** At least one user has complained that they've lost a review, because they spent more than an hour writing it, and the board returned an error. I have not been able to reproduce this on the test site. As a precaution however, if a "request did not originate" error comes up when you submit anything, there will be a link to recover the data you entered. Hopefully no new bugs have appeared, but this hasn't received very extensive testing. Send me a message if you encounter any. Enjoy the updates. As always I accept feature and improvement suggestions. |

Some of you probably got some digests with out-of-date messages. I forgot to properly "flush the system" so to speak. Hopefully this is remedied now. Please PM me if you're receiving more than one digest with outdated comments.

You can update as many times without worry now. Forgot to mention the best one. You won't get "you can't go there" errors from clicking the links in the updates anymore. They're accessable even when in the queue for updates. |

The "I commented on my own work" thing was REALLY annoying, good work (you wizard) fixing it.
