While February is often a relatively inactive period for MFGG, sprite submissions have been really slow lately. The few submissions we've gotten have generally been unremarkable. It would be awesome to see more high-quality custom sprites in the queue instead of quicky edits. There's a lot of enemies and other characters, especially from newer Mario games, that have never been sprited in popular styles like SMB3 and M&L (Paper Mario's Clubbas are one random example of an enemy that's never gotten much love on MFGG). Plus, it's possible - and encouraged - to create sprites in other styles, too! If you're unsure in your spriting abilities, it never hurts to try - practice, and seek feedback, and your skills will improve. Recent Additions Games

Any ideas why February has been inactive historically? Maybe back to school after the holidays... though that happened already in January. |
