Nintendo Community Fangame Convention 2010

You might not know it because they've been incredibly quiet this year, but the Nintendo Community Fangame Convention (NCFC) is set to hold its fourth annual exposition within the next month. The 24th, to be exact. http://nintendocfc.com/ NCFC is the Nintendo community's attempt at running a fangaming expo, similar to E3 or TGS or PAX, but without lines of queueing sweaty nerds in crowded wearhouses. It's a purely online event, in which fangamers from a variety of Nintendo communities (including this one) can register a booth and have their game up in lights for all to see. Though don't be thinking you need to be attached to a community to participate. There'll also be other events during this period such as competitions and workshops and of course our resident disc-jockey DJ Yoshiman will be on the internet wireless with his bespoke selection of tunes. MFGG have been big supporters of this event since its creation in 2007, and this year is no different. The event is due to last 5 days, which is plenty of time to go have a look. Groovy. I'm looking forward to it, and I might be able to have a nearly-complete game ready for it!

I personally don't care if I go or not. I grew up on Mario games and Love the series, but should'nt get my hopes up :)
