Nintendo president Satoru Iwata passed away earlier this week. He was quite an amazing fellow, and he will be missed by all. As for something more fun, the folks over at TSG wanted me to tell you about the Mario Marathon! From July 17 to July 24, they'll be playing Mario games for a great cause. I just don't understand why you all won't accept my Super Sonic Bros sprites. I worked for 2 hours making the perfect NES sprites for Sonic, and you won't accept it. Why?

Quote (Submission Rules) All submissions must be related to Nintendo's Mario series of entertainment, hence the title, Mario Fan Games Galaxy...Submissions focusing on any other gaming series will be declined. However, characters from outside the scope of Mario may make an appearance in the game so long as Mario is the main focus. Graphics submissions must consist of Mario graphics, and Tutorials must demonstrate elements that would help people create Mario-based fangames.

Oh, 'ha-ha', thinking you can just tell me the Submission Rules thinking I'll just upload a new sprite sheet, WELL YOU'RE WRONG. I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE FRICKING SUBMISSION RULES. MARIO FAN GAMES GALAXY WILL BECOME FAN GAMES GALAXY THAT CAN ACCEPT ANY SPRITES AND ANY GAMES FROM ANY SERIES OF VIDEO GAMES! YOU'LL NEVER STOP ME! NEVER!!!

If I had to guess, your sprites could have been rejected simply because they weren't related enough to the Mario series. Sure, they might have been styled to be alongside other SMB sprites, but they aren't really Mario-related. And besides that, your sprites aren't exactly stellar in quality. Good luck starting your own fan game site, by the way. Sure, we cannot stop you from doing so--but given your small name and apparently large ego, and your apparent disdain of any form of quality control, chances are high we wouldn't even need to. |
