I love the way one of TD's older games has a sign "advertising" it at PNC Park, home of the Pittsburgh Pirates of Major League Baseball. Yeah, I know it's a letter off, but that's OK. And yes, I'm still relishing four more days of incessant polka music. Recent Additions Sprites, Libs, and Tilesets

So I wonder if it's safe to assume that my game didn't get accepted... because it's been in the que for about a month now :(

If you haven't received the message, it is most likely still in the que. And remember, these are actual people, not machines, that have to test all the games and view all the sprites and all that stuff. So it could take time. |

Updates are so slow, I feel like this site is going to end up like this one: http://metroidr.brpxqzme.net/ I hope it won't, though. |

Well, there seems to be a new update each week. Not saying this site will never die, but I do think some people are being a bit impatient with the updates. |

I've wondered something about game testing submissions for a while now. Do the staff also use Game Maker decompilers to check the games content? Because I don't see it being possible to find every single piece of hidden inappropriate content just by playing the game normally (incase someone with malicious intent submitted a game like that).

Well, it's not like that has anything to do with the game itself |

I guess they don't. If someone finds that secret, they can report it and the game will be removed. |

Generally I play games from beginning to end before accepting them (unless they're hopelessly broken, in which case I decline them quickly). I also make a point of running a virus scan before accepting games, even for games I've submitted myself.

If you happen to find one of these, it needs to be reported immediately. The user who submitted the game could risk a ban for hiding inappropriate content. Hiding the content as an Easter-egg or unlockable would show intent to smuggle it past the staff, which would make the situation far worse for the submitter. I should hope that people dont stoop to this level, though, there are monsters out there. |

Especially if the game is long and/or difficult. |

So people can sneak stuff in past the staff. That's the main thing I was wondering (not trying to give anyone ideas, just curious). Thanks guys :D Edit: Also if you guys were wondering, I didn't find any game like that so don't worry :P |
