And that's the joke!

Once you're finished not laughing at my joke about a lack of a joke, go check out Dragmire's game. It's delectable.

All in favor of adding a week to queued items when their submitters ask "why is it taking so long" say "aye"

Seriously though asking about it will not make it go any faster

AYE!

really though, the constant people complaining about their submissions taking too long is getting quite annoying,

and in reality, if they would all just shut the hell up, things would be going so much smoother around here.

this site is run by regular people,
people who also have LIVES,
They dont even get payed for working this site,

and it makes me sick to see so many people constantly bitching about how long it takes for their submissions to be accepted.

._.
which is why this site needs some rules or standards so people can know what to do and what not to do.

I meant something like general rules, not submission guidelines.

Which reminds me, those needed to be updated badly.

Really? I thought the Submission Guidelines merely prescribed the minimum length members can clip their largest fingernails.

On a more serious note, the submission rules haven't undergone any major revision since someone (Draco?) wrote them many years ago. I do think a few tweaks might be useful, especially regarding large submissions.

Hey guys, there's nothing in the submission rules about "long queue time = mediocre submission, so stop complaining." That page on the wiki about those things should be added onto the submission rules.

Sorry, I have a serious question?

Are you just trying to troll? Or did you genuinely want to be a wiiboy4ever? If the latter, welcome to MFGG, lol.

Here's a update review!

i forgot to include a dumb joke this time Review, by Luigifan64

SMRPGLOFP: This wasn't very enjoyable. I know MarioDragmire has been working on this for almost 4 years now, but I'm just not feeling it. The whole thing seemed very boring and the story uninspired. Seriously, one of the enemy things is a giant smoke cloud ghost. After that you almost never hear from it again. Plus, he ripped off the opening intro with Mario and the metiore from Earthbound.
I did like the engine though. Not really. I liked the game up intill the backwoods. From there, the engine totally fell apart. The radiuses of the cop toads were enormus and it's like they have more than 2020 eyesight.
I didn't like how if you keep stepping around the palce they could spot you - no, I meant how it was programmed. When you are super far away from them, step around for a little while, bam, they spot you. This means they also have super hearing. And for some reason, your awareness bar only raises up when you're in tall grass. Your feet hitting the ground also makes noise, no?
That part is near impossible. I never saw or heard anyone beat it. Also, I absolutley hate how much that part is unforigiving. At least add a checkpoint whenever you get to the next part. Why should they have checkpoints? Because you have lives. And when you get spot once, you have to start the WHOLE thing ALL over from the start.
The game was passable, though.
6/10, OR 6.5/10.

CopperMario's sprites:
These are amazing. I love it so much. Quote from UltraLuigi: "Did I tell you you're awesome?" Yes. He defenitly deserves it. The shading is perfect, and I think it it could go well with Paper Mario 2 or Super Paper Mario. It's that amazing. 10/10.

Revamped Boo:
Not that good, although it is passable.
6/10.

Someone else can review the reviews. Not in the mood.

Now my take on the distress brewing in the update comments section!
Guys, there's been a rules all this time. Just look at this topic on the MFGG fourums. Notice: Some of the rules have nothing to do with the mainsite.
Right about here, I believe.
http://forums.mfgg.net/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=240

So that might answer some questions. And yes, there should be just a posting rules section here.

Erm, I don't think the forum rules really apply here since mainsite and forums are well....entities I guess?

Will you please stop just saying sprites are "not that good" or "unappealing" without giving any actual criticism?
Also, instead of doing these "update review" things, why don't you just comment on the submissions themselves? Wouldn't that make more sense?

The backwoods sequence was one thing I worried about. I guess you guys woulda completely hated me if I had left it like it was originally (more cops and no lives).
I'm sorry bout that, I want you guys to be able to play the rest of the game.
I've updated it with checkpoints now (also when you eliminate all the cops in one screen your presence meter empties). It may be a while before the mainsite updates so check it out at the forum. Or my link below.

As for the uninspired story, you're right. I left it unchanged from when I was 13. It's only after the Cops Chapter ends that I started with new material.
