Sorry for complaining but,
My sprite sheet has been in the queue for at least 3-5 updates now, and hasn't been accepted.

It probably means it's mediocre and the staff are having a hard time determining if it is worth accepting or not.

With that said, give it a rest already

So you knew what was going to happen

Yet you do it anyway clearly expecting a different result

See, the definition of insanity is something similar to that.

(I should mention, as far as I know, I'm the only one who does this. I can't speak for the rest of the staff. But I'm fairly certain they don't like being bugged about this too.)

Also what Vitiman said.

Yes, it may take some time to accept submissions sometimes, but remember that there's a ton of people who posts stuff, usually more than 1. And if I didn't misunderstand, ZeroKirby said he was the only one who looked at the queued submissions. So it takes time to look at all of them, and to consider what is worth to put here on the page or not. Remember, he is only one person, so it can be hard to choose what to accept, in spite of what the other staff members may think, and the fact that there's so many submissions that is in the queue. We must only be patient :)

Well put, man.

Though i dont think he is the ONLY one looking at them, it does take time for all in question to look at them. you are on the right track though,

I like that.

You misunderstood me completely! What I meant was that I'm the only one who purposefully delays looking at submissions when their creators whine about still being in the queue.

The other staff also look at the queued submissions. I just don't know if they also delay submissions based on their submitters complaining.

I probably should've worded it better though, so I don't blame you.

Isn't that a bit um...... a tiny bit unethical?

now now wiiboy,

He has every right to protest people complaining in whatever way he deems fit,

What he is doing is even covered in the constitution with his right to free speech.

Why are you using that word

I could've just decided to automatically decline it.

That would have been unethical.

The worst I do is not vote. Somebody else could just as easily take my spot for that. Tell me how "ethics" comes into it, especially when it's been made clear people shouldn't complain about their stuff being in the queue for a long time and doubly especially when people have been told why countless times.

I wasn't talking about talking about it, I meant "delaying their submissions". :3 ....assuming that's what you were referring to?

It seemed like the best fitting word, sorry.
Don't know what you mean by the voting thing though.
Also, just saying, new people join continuously, so it's just going to be a never ending steam of "complain complain" "lecture lecture"
EDIT:
um, I guess you guys are right so sorry for all this.

In that case, the logical thing would be to place it in the rules, along with any possible consequences. If they don't read the rules, that's their own fault. I'm not a staffer (but hey I'm open to be one guys =P), but being constantly yelled at by someone because their genius submission didn't get accepted fast enough wouldn't please me in the slightest.

That said, that may have come off as a bit rude, so sorry to anyone who took that the wrong way.

hurrah! an update! I just hope my own sprite will make it this time. Don't take it the wrong way, I won't complain on whether or not the sprite gets in.
