This year's Nintendo Community Fangame Convention begins November 12. This date is slightly later than previous events, so you'll have more time to work on your booths. NCFC is always quite a fun time, so don't miss it! Maybe I'll use this as an incentive to stop procrastinating on my own projects...

While you're in the link-clicking mood, voting is underway for the latest Minigame Competition, and if you'd like to break out the ol' bass geeeeeetar, it's not too late to enter the current Music Competition, which has a theme of Progressive Rock.

Can you take care of sounds and music too?
I got music tracks in the queue for 5 months...

Surprisingly, the quality control staffers have lives outside of doing that. There are literally tons and tons of submissions in the queue, and you're no more important than anyone else, so you can probably do the math

Alas, no one can seem to learn their lesson from this sort of thing

Sorry, I didn't mean to offend anyone.
All I wanted to say was that the sprite sheet I uploaded 08/05/12 was accepted but my songs from 03/12 aren't yet.

Again, there are tons upon tons of submissions in the queue; they probably overlooked it at some point a month or so ago and... well... more and more submissions being added might have prevented them from taking a look at it.

Although going by what Zero Kirby said above me, it seems he will intentionally ignore it for another week because you complained.

Actually, in my time being site staffer, I noticed I was the only one even looking at the music submissions (being a musician) - to the point that I requested BS to diminish the requirements of accepting or declining the audio section to only one staff vote, rather than needing more than one to determine if it gets accepted or not.

I'm not sure if that's the case now, but I wouldn't be surprised. Fangames and sprites generally get much more priority over them, and the reason they got accepted almost immediately before was because of my obsession with people's music and being site staff.

If any of the site staff actually do love going through the audio section, then my information here is currently incorrect, and it could be a case of difficulty determining whether it's suitable as being on the website or not.

Does this site intentionally add the 'www' in its links, or is FireFox doing this to me? There's times where I can't view anything without copying its link, pasting it in my address bar, and then editing the 'www' out. That's a bit on the inconvenient side of things.

I actually think this may be a glitch in the MFGG main site scripting,

Some (if not all) in-site links will be broken when pasted in the message arias.

Yeah, bbcode links sometimes can't be posted in comment areas without editing them back into shape right after, but I'm talking about other links - say, ones in the site update list that point to new sprites and other things.
