Here's a "real" update, even if it might not be as much fun as Fake Super Mario Territory and Recolored Christina's World. A friendly reminder for all: In the past week, we've had a number of people submitting negative reviews to MFGG. By negative I don't mean negative in tone (although everyone could use an occasional reminder to keep their critique helpful and constructive in nature); rather, I mean negative in terms of negative integers. By abusing the submission system, it's possible to submit a review with scores lower than 1/10 or higher than 10/10. Several different people did exactly that. This kind of shenanigan is fun for a time, but I think it's about time to put a stop to this. With April Fools over and gone, don't submit manipulated reviews, as the Site Staff will change them back to normal, and besides that, a future mainsite upgrade will likely fix this bug (or even dispense with the current 1-10 ratings system altogether). And now that that's over with, I return you to your regularly scheduled programming. Recent Additions Games

Oh god, I shouldn't tell anyone the trick or the leak will spread like a wildfire. Otherwise there will be no mess on abused review system.

I think the joke was starting to well wear out its welcome, anyway. You're not being clever if you're following everyone else especially since most of the negative reviews were for the same game.

I think he's saying that the update will remove the bug, and that they may also remove the 1-10 ranking system along with it (intentionally). He isn't saying that the update will remove the bug AND the ability to score games. |

Supernova: It's not that hard to figure out how to submit a negative review if you have some technical expertise. But it's even easier for Site Staffers to edit the scores back to 1/10 in the Admin CP! Cap'n Coconuts: If we ever update the TCSMS software, we may add a check to prevent people from submitting reviews containing scores outside the normal range. There's also been some discussion about giving members the option of submitting complete reviews without having to use the existing 1-10 scale. So far it's been mostly talk, however. |

weeeeeell..... If the staff won't accept negative reviews anymore...they should tell us how to do it! Yaaaay! By the way, were the April fools games saved somewhere? Forgot to download a few of them. |
