| [UPDATE] To all left handers | Posted by: jamieklausen998 at Sep 15 2026, 5:52 AM |
| For Mario fan projects, a strong image workflow is often the difference between a rough concept and a polished release. Image-to-image tools can help turn a sketch, screenshot, or existing sprite composition into a fresh visual direction while preserving the important shapes and layout. That makes them useful for experimenting with alternate costumes, background moods, title-screen concepts, promotional art, and mockups for a new level. The most useful results come from giving the model a clear starting image and a focused instruction: describe the subject, the desired style, the lighting, the palette, and which parts should remain unchanged. Small, deliberate edits usually work better than asking for an entirely different scene. It is also worth generating several variations, comparing silhouettes and readability at game resolution, and then cleaning up the best result by hand so it fits the project’s art direction. For a browser-based option, the image to image ai tool provides a convenient place to explore these ideas. It can be a handy part of a larger pixel-art workflow: brainstorm variations there, keep the strongest composition, and finish the final sprites or tileset with careful manual edits. Used thoughtfully, this approach keeps the creative decisions with the developer while making visual iteration much faster. |

| We've had playable Hammer Bros. in Mario Kart Tour. Now for them to be playable in an official platformer. Also Cappy, no. Capturing them is not enough LOL. |

| Fun fact, folks! There is a ROM hack of SMB1 that you can play as the Hammer Bros. called — You guessed it! — "Hammer Bros.", which was made by Blckmage in 1999. (Wow, that's old!) And they're named Snipe and Dash! | |

| I've also been wondering until today how there weren't (yet) any Super Mario Club sprites. Congratulations on the rips, they're very good! If I use it in any of my projects, I will give you credit. | |
| [Review] Review: VS. Super Mario Bros. Trilogized | Posted by: NimaginendoGames at Aug 31 2026, 3:24 AM |
| For the blurriness in fullscreen (or even when not in fullscreen), it really depends on PC settings; some people play my projects and the pixels don't look blurry. The small screen size matches the original NES resolution, but I haven't yet found a way to launch the game in fullscreen mode. I'm still looking into that. Regarding audio channels: I’ve tried that before, but since the music is "pre-recorded" in memory as a .wav file, it’s impossible to mute individual channels. That’s why I overlook that aspect when creating a project. Thanks a lot for the review! | |
