Seems it's been a while since we've had an update. Now you get one! If you ever feel like giving the MFGG mainsite or forums a different vibe, don't forget that we have a bunch of different skins available for use! Look under Preferences for the mainsite, or the User Control Panel - Edit Options in the forums. I've always thought it's really cool that MFGG has a big variety of skins that we can use, and I like changing up my look every once in a while. (BooBerry season is coming soon.) Hey everyone, bringing another update to you! If you've been on the forums or the Discord, you may have noticed a little even going on: a group photo! I'm collecting artwork that various MFGGers have made of themselves, and they'll be compiled together into a single image with everyone together. Submissions are open through Jul 31st. That's less than two days from now, so, uh, if you plan on participating, you better join in soon! Yeah, I know, that's a bit of a short notice. While I made sure those on the forums and Discord knew about it ahead of time, I dropped the ball for those only frequent the mainsite. Sorry about that. MFGG turns 25!

For most of the world, it is now July 9, which marks the 25th anniversary of Bowser Technologies becoming Mario Fan Games Galaxy. 25 years is no small feat on the internet, especially for a website that is community focused. We have big news for those of you who have been here for a while: The Midas Machine has a new demo! Vinny has been hard at work restoring content and fixing bugs. This new version, while not complete, is over twice as large as the previous version, and is way, way bigger than many fangames out there. A big thank you to everyone who has helped keep MFGG alive over the years, it is truly a community effort to keep something like this. If you're new, or haven't interacted much with the community, please feel free to hang out with us on the forums or the Discord, we'd love to chat! Heyhey MFGG! I'm back with yet another update. A few big releases have, well, released this week! First and foremost is Deltarune's new chapter, and Star Fox is back with a new game. The 2026 World Cup started today, which can only mean one thing: statistics! ... Oh yeah, there's also that thing about nations around the world competing in the most popular sport you can find. Whether you prefer goals or the numbers that represent them, we're having a discussion on the forums about the games, as it's given us a good excuse login there and chat. In other news, MFGG's 25th anniversary is less than a month away! I've heard that there's some events planned. Don't ask me what they are, though. I know about as much as the rest of y'all. We are saddened to inform that our friend and ex-community moderator Jazzman/Omega has sadly passed away after a long battle with cancer. Jazzman will be remembered for the massive contributions they made into the site. We sending our thoughts and condolences to their family. Rest in peace, community legend! |
