Super Mario Land GM Remake - Scrapped Demo

I know it's obvious that I made this with Hello's SMB1 Engine, but to me, that's not the case here. Wii geek suggested to have Spearheads in this game, which I put in in response. I hope you'll enjoy this, as this is my first submission here on MFGG. NOTE: some things were colored by how it was shown on Super Mario Land when played on a Game Boy Advance SP

You make fan games because it's fun to. And the easy route isn't always the best one. In fact, putting effort in what you're doing is the way to go most of the time.

If you make a game with an engine(example game) you need to change stuff so it doesn't even look/feel like the engine.

Well, I have news for you, KoopaKingdom. Your games are crappier than this. And your games DO feel like the original engine you used.
