It is called this because it's a robot. Proof: Goomba + Robot = Goombot. PS = I liked it so much that game.

They're not recoloured, when Black Squirrel SPECIFICALLY said to recolour them to prevent clones. He wanted this so badly that he made the default pallette super ugly. Also it's overused.

I'd prefer it if you removed the sprites you found that were for Super Mario Coz please. They were not meant for the taking

Unless you see it put on a section of a website that is specifically made to be used as resources, you should probably not use it.

You know, now that I've played it, I sort of have mixed feelings about this game. On one hand, it really isn't a very good game. On the other hand, it's really fun. Mainly because Goombot runs so fast. And after all, that's what really matters. Also when was there a goombot 1?

Good you like it anyway! Goombot 1 is at YoYogames but I can't submit it here since it's just one of my noob-games. And by the way, why isn't it a good game (I also know it's not that good, but I need some explaination why)

For one thing, there are quite a few lazy recolours (Pretty much all the robots) and bad resizes (The chomp). The goombot clone fights are boring, and it's really annoying to have to wait for roybot to ground pound so you can hit him. Instead of him choosing whether he ground pounds at random, it should be a pattern. The chomp section was rather bad, as if you so much as brush against it, it'll pass you, and you have no choice but to kill yourself.
