Well, it's been a pretty busy month, hasn't it? I'd like to start this off by thanking everyone who entered our MFGG Fangame Jam, because without you guys, this wouldn't have been the awesome month that it's been. Thanks to all of our entrants, it genuinely feels like Nintendo fangaming this month has been the best it's been in quite some time. So much hard work, passion, and soul have been put into each of these games, and I couldn't be prouder. All of the games can be found at https://itch.io/jam/mfgg-fangame-jam, but many of them are getting fixed up and uploaded to MFGG itself, so make sure to check back every once in a while if you want to experience these games at their best. Speaking of which, I think it's important that we announce our final winners on the mainsite itself, so let's get to it! In 1st place, we have The Legend of Zelda: Eternal Rain, created by a collective that I'm going to call the Saguaro Boys. They know who they are, and if you play the game, so will you. It was uploaded by zxspriter, but he was only one part of the awesome group that put this together. Between the art, dungeon design, and everything else, this game definitely deserves its spot at the top of our list. In 2nd place we have Landborne, a really quirky and fun game put together by BigPotato. Featuring his signature expressive sprites, Landborne is absolutely hilarious for the animations alone, not to mention that on top of that it's a great little physics-based game with an endlessly amusing premise. And in 3rd place we have Torpedo Ted, made by SuperMakerPlayer. A spiritual sequel to the old "Bullet Bill" series on Newgrounds, Torpedo Ted just totally rocks. If you like like high-speed, breakneck 360° action, definitely check this one out, as it's sure to get your heart pounding. ...Now, while those may be our winners, I'd like to thank everyone else who entered as well. Each and every game entered in the jam is a product of a week straight of hard work and amazing willpower, and I am extremely pleased by how this turned out. To all of you, thank you so much for showing everyone that the fangaming scene is very much alive and kicking, and for bringing MFGG one of its best months in years. Now, to get a little more serious for a second, while this has been a very special month for MFGG, it hasn't been quite so great elsewhere for many people. I'm sure you've heard about the protests occurring across both the United States and internationally regarding police brutality, racial inequality, and systemic prejudice. MFGG is an extremely diverse and varied community, and our staff members absolutely support the Black Lives Matter movement in pursuit of ending the horrible atrocities that continue to befall the black community to this day. We will continue to do our very best as a community to prevent racism and racist rhetoric in our social channels, and we will offer our support wherever we can. Well, if you've stuck with me this long, thanks for your time and patience. As your reward, enjoy this update: Recent Additions Games
