Super Mario Eclipse

By: Hello [W]
The eclipse stars, a source of mythical powers, have been unleashed upon the world. As a result, the entire Mushroom Kingdom has been shrouded in the shadows of an everlasting eclipse. It is up to Mario to collect these stars, and save everyone from an eternal twilight.

Well, well, well. Another production by Mr. Hello. Really hoping this isn't another "Hello Clone", especially since the engine is notorious for being "overused" (in the sense that too many people use it) and "underused" (in the sense that none of those people ever do anything unique with it)...WHICH IS NOT HELLO'S FAULT, BY THE WAY.

However, this one screenshot preview caught my attention rather quickly, so....perhaps this will be good?

Downloading now. Expect a review afterward.

Anyone who gets a shader error like this in any GM Studio game needs to make sure that their Direct X is up to date.

Hello, is that a mix of platformer and puzzle? While I was looking at your topic for Super Mario Eclipse, I saw a puzzle that involved using switches to open the pinball flipper gates. They look interesting.

It's a puzzle platformer with some RPG elements.

Sorry for double-post.
I still don't understand why people hate the engine. SuperJABros made it much more reliable and better.

Hello, it will be nice if you have taken out the shaders, and add an option to enable them in the Options menu. Many people cannot play the game because of the errors in the shaders.

Non-shader game working, so I am going to make a review soon. Though my reviews never get posted because I never write the things long enough, and it just seems like I keep saying the game is good repeatedly too much. How sad.
EDIT: Uhhh, what. |

I don't know about lianglyan, but mine is Windows XP, Service Pack 3, Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.20GHz 3.19GHz. I don't even know what the s*** those mean anyway, is it bad or not. Either way it's not because of my computer, its because of the game.

It's most likely to be incompatible with Windows XP PCs running Intel, I think.
Be sure to update to Windows 7. Updating to Windows 8 may not work sometimes because some Game Maker Studio games will not work.

1. I can't afford for a legit one, and I can't find one in the store anyway.
2. I've been planning on that, too, because there are MANY programs that work for only Windows 7 and up (Sony Vegas Pro 12, Mirillis ACTION!, Adobe's Creative Clouds series etc. etc. and p.s it makes me very sad), though I'm not sure, I feel like there are some thing that work only for XP that don't work for 7, so I planned not yet to update to that one.

Oh and P.P.S I have my other important files on another computer, though when my Big Big Brother came to fix it (he lives like 500 km away from my town, and btw he has a mental tumor since he was a child so he has to be in the hospital now he might die D:), he "accidentally" took the other computer with him. So I'm kinda stuck here. It's been already 7 weeks since he took it, and I really wish I'd AT LEAST get it back for christmas.
P.P.P.S The other computer has 189 total GB storage, and this one only has 79, and I kinda hoard + I make videos so I'm gonna need all that storage~

I think obj_right was a leftover of the shaders, or it could be used to move the platforms, or as movement for Mario.

@Waluigi the Purple Thunder
What? If it's very hard, why you think it's bad? That doesn't sound constructive at all.

Also, this game is most likely to be incompatible with older PC's, especially with Windows XP. You may want to get a better one in order to run the game.

No no no, Mario_Builder, Mario Learns about Colors is for guiding Mario to the silver pipe by mixing colors to help him get past various colored blocks, while Super Mario Eclipse is a puzzle-platformer.
