General Commentary and Game Overview
Most likely Doc Wario's earlier games, as it shows the inconsistencies of a beginning game maker. Still, an ambitious project with interesting twists.

Pros Graphics aren't too clashing. There's a running feature in it, as well as varied gameplay besides just platforming.

Cons Mario's platform movement has unstable deceleration, hotspots, and jumping. The lack of a static engine isn't made better by hard to control platform movement. Compressed graphics, oddities, and some unexpected glitches, including not restarting a level when you die.

Impressions
Gameplay
4 / 10
I appreciate varying gameplay a lot, especially when platforming is among them, but this is not done the best way. The deceleration on Mario makes platforming difficult, and it is mixed with odd scenarios, including scrolling with jumping fish and pits. It really is difficult and I was unable to complete the game due to the malfunctions occurring.

Graphics
6 / 10
While not too clashing, the graphics are somewhat compressed, which actually gives the game its own feel. However, a greater showcase of active backdrop objects between those of inactive ones would be useful in some situations. Word art fits in good sometimes, yet sticks out other times. Not terrible, but not that great.

Sound
7 / 10
Music choices are fitting, and sounds are relevant to the action at hand. Voice acting at beginning is meant to be humorous, but may need an affirmative way to skip (pressing space more repeats the dialogue and prevents people from playing the game). Overall not too shabby.

Replay
5 / 10
The game is definitely not a short collection of minigames or some 2 player vs game, but rather a 1 player adventure. This means that if I wish to replay the adventure, I will most likely do so after spaced amount of times. However, I find myself coming back more to attempt to beat it rather than enjoy it again, so it's difficult to say.

Final Words
5 / 10
This is an example of an early game that's difficulty prohibits enjoying maybe some of the later levels, which based off the original look may have been unique and fun. However, because of these, it makes it harder to explore, and not enjoyable to try towards. Interesting, but frustrating.
