What if you used the SMW cave background that appeared in Donut Plains 2? It's kinda black with blue and light blue...circles, or bumps, or something...I don't know; I thought they'd look good together. EDIT: Or did you mean the crystals in the NSMB background?

I was talking about the NSMB crystals. SMW backgrounds are no problem for me. I might combine super paper mario with smw instead. I find the cave backgrounds of the nsmb series very uninspiring tbh :/

Yeah, they are just a blue semi-3D replica of the SMA4 cave background...
