Wow, Super Mario Maker 2 is already getting ripped!? Jokes aside, you did a good job with this! It makes me think of the time when people are ripping sprites from the original game before that came out.

I remember using these sprites for an old fangame of mine that didn't get very far! Even to this day, I still think it looks very good and has a charming look!

These are okay overall. Some power-ups don't look bad, such as the tanooki suit and cat bells. Some seem to be made cheaply, though, such as the leaves, which are clearly just edits of the feathers.

Simple indeed! I really like it, although I think the colors can use more contrast. Some colors seem to blend with each other, such as the colors in Mario's gloves.

VinnyVideo was such a great guy. He really helped out making MFGG a great place, and even helped me out with some things! It's sad to hear that he's stepping down, but I can understand why it has to happen. It'll be interesting to see how MFGG goes in the future. I'm hoping it'll go great!

To change themes, go to "Preferences" (at the left side, under your user menu), and if you look under "Browsing Defaults", you'll find an option for changing themes. Anyway, it's great to have new themes!

Thanks for the review! For difficultly, I don't think it's too hard to get beyond 10K, although part of that may be due to how much experience I have with the game from testing. I think it's a matter of paying attention, making as much use out of the stars as possible, and staying around the middle. About the background, I tried to make it filled with some details while keeping it simple enough to not distract players from the constant action. For the music, I do suppose that the main theme isn't really suitable for the game. I think I cared more about having a Commander Keen song in the game than anything else at that time, ha ha.

That's Commander Keen. I don't know how he got in there, but I'm guessing he's visiting this site while trapped in his computer. As for Mario, he's probably stalking Keen.
