Despite its sloppy appearence, MRRL is actualy does a decent job at capturing the true Mario feel. Sorry to dissapoint Lost Levels fans, but this game has nothing to do with the Japanese version of SMB2!

Okay, a couple questions. Why does it begin with the theme song of the X-files? Why does the title screen have the DKC2 Lost World theme? Despite these absurdities, the gameplay is nearly flawless.

I played this a while ago and got into a couple levels before I got a game over. I like that there is a help section that includes hints -- something you don't see very often in fangames.

There's something weird with this game. Whenever I beat the Bowser's Castle level (after the giant fly boss), I get transported back to World 3. Is this a glitch or am I missing a hidden objective? I suspect that you might have to get a certain score -- I think I got above 1,500 at most.
