I would've liked to play this game, but it doesn't, the problem seems to come from my PC though. So until I can fix this issue I can only hope that this isn't just a clone of another game with mario gfx, like some flappy bird clone ...

You ain't missing much.

True facts have been laid here. Give this man and Blutorus an award for reminding us how good joke games truly ought to be made.

So that's where the Toad Strikes Back hammer came from.

Nice rips!

You know...

If you're gonna try to make a game inspired by Flappy Bird, at least try to spice it up instead of settling with a carbon-copy clone with a Mario coat of paint. It's a shame too, because I do see potential in this.

This is Mario we're talking about, here. This series is chock full of characters and elements you can play with, all of them ripe for turning your game here into something quite amazing. Add some Paragoombas and Paratroopas to dodge, or perhaps coins to collect! Give us more varied stages to play in, rather than force us to dodge a bunch of green pipes for a million years! Add extra power-ups like the Tanooki Suit, Wing Cap, or Propeller Mushroom! Hell, even introduce some bosses if you want to (like having Bowser Jr. show up in his Clown Car and spitting fire at Mario or something)! Just go all out with it! Turn a boring game into something that's actually interesting given the character you're using!

But hey. That's just some advice.

EDIT: This is open for anyone here to capitalize on, by the way.

SMA2 is literally just SMW with a brighter palette.

In that game though, Peach's sprites are completely different.

Neat sheet here.

Though, uh, you seem to have forgotten the death animation.

Why do staff members (and everyone else, for that matter) complain about Hello clones when they keep accepting them to the site?

You want to know why? You really want to know why we keep accepting these?

...because it's playable, that's why. This one is (arguably) actually made in earnest (due in part to Hello himself making it), unlike some of the other engine clones I see here.

And it's still wrong because Super Mario Country won Game of the Month for July, not August!

:)

Welp!

NSMB2 is pretty good. A bit samey, but still pretty fun.

Best thing about the game has to be the level design. Good lord, the level design.

How on earth did this game get accepted?

Nah, I'm just pulling your leg Glukom. It takes great skill to shell out such a masterpiece like this. Nice work, boy.

Hey, it's cool.
What game is it from?

He's an enemy from Super Mario Bros. 2, I think.

Anyways, glad to see you starting on these again, Nick.

At least tell him a way to improve this sheet instead of saying "it suck".

100% Custom my foot. The in-shell poses are just Parakoopa's (now known as Ridge Troopa) old M&L Koopa Troopa poses with the grey pixels and shadow removed. Also the wings are recolors of the M&L ones.

The wings and shell may look similar, but they aren't edited from Ridge's. I understand that you may think that. (Besides, I'm updating this sheet with better shell sprites anyway.)

INSANE!!! How were you able to do this?!?!?!

Also, does anyone know of any recommeded applications to convert from .OGG to .WAV?

Try Audacity. It can convert any sound type to what you want.

Anyways, nice rips!

From what little I read, all I can say is this: get better at writting and grammer for Pete's sake!

Writting and grammer?

Anyways, pretty creative update you've got here! Maybe I should catch up on the other stories...
