Gameplay

Wow... No doubt about it: this game is a train wreck to play. The list of shortcomings is embarassingly long. First things first: You aren't told some of the vital commands. Sure, the jumping and tounge are assigned to Fire 1 and Fire 2, but don't forget about the Z key to shoot eggs, which this game never says for you. And what sucks is that for some of the bosses, you need eggs(which sometimes don't work even when you press Z). Next, in a move "improved" upon from Yoshi's Island, you can flutter kick to gain height. Then you can do another flutter kick after the end of the first kick, then rinse and repeat, so you can sail into endless height. Sometimes, Yoshi's tounge will not shoot in the direction you are facing. Also, on at least two occassions, Yoshi became stuck and couldn't move. I had to restart the game at least three times just to complete the first level alone. To top it all off, while I was playing this again for review, Yoshi somehow split into two Yoshis, which I was controlling at the same time. The mechanics in this game couldn't even pass the starting line in any aspect. Oh, also I should mention that if you manage to land onto the second level, Boshi can give you new abilites. But they are almost useless, and equally as buggy to pull off.

Graphics
4 / 10
Seeing as the gameplay objects are from old libs, and being that these libs are old, the content inside them are very unsorted, some not even Mario material, and so the level's enemies and obstacles are terribly strewn across. The cast is bizarre: Robot Marios, handdrawn paragoombas, and "Evil Yoshi", just to name a few.

Sound
4 / 10
The score is diverse. Clips from Mega Man, Kirby, and other games. But there are few sound effects though, and they don't even apply to Yoshi or his moves.

There's virtually nothing. I tried to press as far as I could to see what was at the end, but it was only a demo and I was amazingly disappointed.

Final Words

Want to play the most broken and dull fangame in the lot? Look no further. This game is really that bad, and much worse.
