General Commentary and Game Overview

Super Mario Bros. Odyssey (Chapter One) is a great game. I loved almost every bit of it, from graphics to level design. Here is my review on the fan game.

Pros	-Awesome level design -Luigi as a playable character -Most of the graphics -Different game modes
Cons	-You can not save on transition levels -No map to travel to levels (is this intentional as it resembles SMB1?)

Impressions

Gameplay 9 / 10	The gameplay is very flawless and has amazing physics. The design of levels are good, and it almost feels like something Nintendo would make.
Graphics 10 / 10	The graphics are mostly ripped from other Mario games. Some are custom, like the Goombas and Galoombas. I absolutely LOVE the Koopa graphics, probably because they're from SMW. (One of my favorite Mario games graphic-wise) For some reason, the Cheep-Cheeps are replaced by Blurps. Mario and Luigi's graphics are ripped directly from Super Mario All-Stars: Super Mario Bros. with some awesome re-shading.
Sound 8 / 10	Generic Mario sound effects are here, with some music that sounds like orchestra.
Replay 9 / 10	I would definitely play this again and again until the next chapter, mainly because of how fun it is. I loved it all, and I can't wait for Chapter Two!

Final Words

A beautiful retelling of the classic Mario story.
