General Commentary and Game Overview
This game is one of those unique games on the forum that i seem to enjoy. This one takes a 3D approach while maintaining a 2D perspective similar to that of Super Mario 3d Land. It features a blend of every element from the games and even sprinkles new things in, like how you have HP but you don't engage in battle when you stomp on an enemy, but said enemy will lose health. It is an enlightening experience that i think most Paper Mario fans can enjoy.

Pros -Great level design
-Has that distinct Paper Mario feel
-Doesn't shove in tutorials

Cons -Could use some small touch-ups on the graphics

Impressions
Gameplay
9 / 10
The Gameplay is very simple and easy to learn, which is what we need. Anybody can pick up and play. It also distinctly plays like a Paper Mario game. However, one gripe i have with the game is that i wish that you can have a 360 camera view, but that's just a minor complaint.

Graphics
8 / 10
The graphics are a bit messy. I kinda wish that DJ Coco could've found better Paper Mario sprites to use, but still. The graphics are bright and colorful.

Sound
10 / 10
It uses the already-existing Paper Mario soundtrack. How could i not rate this highly?

Replay
6 / 10
That is up to you depending on your tastes, but in my opinion, i guess i would give it a shrug. The camera constraints kinda removes a bit of the experience.

Final Words
9 / 10
Paper Mario 3D Land is a love letter to any Paper Mario fan out there. It has great spritework, a charming soundtrack, and good gameplay. If you're looking for an original Paper Mario game, This is your place to go.
