General Commentary and Game Overview
Yoshi's Mega Rush is a game where you begin by hopping on your trusty pal Yoshi, and you start riding through the game while the screen moves by itself. You grab coins, shine sprites, and eat enemies until you beat it. Not as fun as it sounds, honestly.

Pros +Good engine
+Good scoring system

Cons -Short
-Easy to beat
-No flutter jump

Impressions
Gameplay
5 / 10
The gameplay isn't anything new. All you do is ride on Yoshi while collecting coins, shine sprites, and eating enemies. You have to get to the end of the level while the screen moves for you (hence the name "Mega Rush") and it moves too quickly, at that. The engine is decent, I'm not really sure if it's a HE clone or not, but it doesn't redeem the game for being so boring.

Graphics
6 / 10
The game uses SMB3 graphics, which isn't bad. However, it doesn't really relate to the music at all. And there is a bit of clash with the sprites, as well. Overall, the graphics aren't terrible, but not anything special either.

Sound
4 / 10
Like I said earlier, the SMW looping music really seems to clash with the SMB3 style world. Other than that, there's not much to say about it, really.

Replay
2 / 10
Game really has no replay value at all. It's easy to beat, but doesn't seem to have any rewarding aspects once it's beaten. I probably wouldn't ever give this game another try.

Final Words
4 / 10
It's not terrible, but it's definitely not the greatest game out there. You have nothing to lose by giving it a try.
