New Super Mario Kart

This is my second game and my first 3D game. It's a mode 7 like copy off SMK from SNES, with my own additions. Now three cups are avaible the basic characters and 12 unlockable characters. 20 IN TOTAL!! Also the Mega Mushroom and the Mini Mushroom, bomb, thunder,.. and many more items are avaible! Have fun!

10/01/06	I noticed the star and flower cup were not working! Sorry :-) My mistake.
09/30/06	Little update. Fixed some errors and I have found a mechanism to decrease the loading time. I stored the backgrounds seperately (54MB when extracted) but it reduces loading time with 20-30 seconds.

Bacteriophage	If you're looking for something awe-inspiring to try out for a few minutes, this game is perfect for you. However, if you want long hours of original Mario Kart fun, this is not your best bet.	8 / 10

Black Squirrel	The first of it's kind, but 3D doesn't save the game from being much fun. It's nice to look at, but gameplay is pretty poor.	6 / 10
Hiago	This game of race is one of the few of this style for PC. Therefore, I respect some bugs that it has in the game, therefore this is the best Mario Kart for PC	10 / 10

I think it would be nice if you could stop the item roulette with the spacebar (like in the actual Mario Karts), rather a than waiting a while for your item to come up. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeease? ^^;

Ok, in the next update I'm trying to add 50cc,100cc and 150cc gamemode, so the computers are easier, then the secret characters are fire mario, fire luigi, waluigi, wario, toadsworth, daisy, petey, and donkeykong (the adult, not junior).

Very great game with good new objects, but you should change some graphismes and do a presentation at the begining of the race.

this is why I love game maker, I can't wait to finish my game. your game is a great clone, but it runs a little slow in some areas, and please make it only 3 laps.

MATTSOFTWARE, If Mario Kart 360 had more characters, cups and such like this, I would play it way more. Your game is like a PC Version of Super Mario Kart (SNES) Not to say your games is bad though.

Talking to the wrong fellow here CJ DJ. Anyways, this is a well put together game, using GM's 3D engine I presume. Please don't end up using themes and tracks only from the orginial game. If you do, I might as well download the rom. (If I must remove that word so this site isn't closed down, please let me know). All these updates are reminding me of what the fellows who are making SRB2 are doing with Version 1.09.3.39. Edit: Also, please remove that hideous shirt of Donkey Kong Jr. It just makes him look, well, you know.

Com, about that tracks from the original version. When I've finished the star and special cup I will be adding some of my own tracks. But I'm still searching for a good way to create them. PS to everyone: If New Mario Kart runs slow on you Pc, go to the option menu and then set 'Draw the far wall' to off. It will save A LOT of memory.
