General Commentary and Game Overview
Mugh.

Another Super Mario Bros. rehash. It seems like EVERYBODY'S doing it nowadays. They aren't adding anything new!

And what makes matters worse, they're using the SMB Hello Engine!

I don't know when using that engine became a good idea, since it's so glitch and problem ridden it's ridiculous.

I don't remember when using an engine to just pump out games and not learn from them became a good idea, either.

Hell, even Hello himself realized he had to start self-programming.

Why'd he have to let everyone else in on the deal?

Pros + Graphics are OK, but leave much to be desired.
+ They provide a quit button for you in the main menu.

Cons - It uses the first level of SMB... which is already packaged with the engine.
- The rest of the levels are unimaginative.
- Everything that was wrong with the Hello engine persists here.
- Well overused Mario MIDIs.
- It uses a pre-made engine without adding to the package.

Impressions
Gameplay
4 / 10
This game comes to us from the United Blands of Generica, a very boring country indeed.

Generic gameplay is never really a problem unless it's paired together with unimaginative design, which by itself is a major problem. Combining both creates the monstrosity called, "You Played This Five Minutes Ago."

And you might as well have, because the level design is as unimaginative as a doorknob. The gameplay is like Super Mario Bros, except a little broken, because several collision glitches mar the whole game.

The first level is the now-infamous World 1-1, which conviniently enough, came packaged with the engine. That's right folks! Need a filler level? The SMB Hello Engine comes packaged with one!

If I were ever to release an engine (which won't ever happen ever), I'd at least make the level so horrible no one would want to play past it.

This game is just SO DAMN GENERIC you really can't say much about it aside from "really freakin' boring."

It feels like a Hello game. There being about 30 of them on this site already, I think the flood should stop. Now.

Gameplay gets a boring four.

Graphics
10 / 10
The graphics! They don't hurt my eyes!

Generic SMB graphics, which is always nice to see, but with more colors! It actually looks very nice.

Graphics get a fantastic ten.

Sound
1 / 10
The sounds are solid, aside from the spring's sound, which shouldn't happen. They didn't have a sound in the original SMB.

Now...

GAH! The music! It's been used over and over and over and over and over and over!

Do I have to repeat what everyone else has said?

Do I have to repeat what everyone else has said?

STOP. USING. THOSE. MIDIS.

STOP. USING. THOSE. MIDIS.

Sound gets a one.

Sound gets a one.

Replay
1 / 10
Upon trying to quit (because this game is boring) I got the message, "You want to quit this awesome game?"

The game must have itself confused for another one, because it's as far from awesome as it could be without being abysmal.

Replay would get a zero, but I can't. So it's a one.

Final Words
2 / 10
Upon hitting the Quit Button, "You want to quit this awesome game?" popped up in front of me. I'm still not sure what game it was talking about.

It seems like I'm the only one who can't stand the graphics. The colors seem really badly-chosen to me and an eyesore.

Obviously you're quite entitled to your opinion, though. And good review.

I averaged out your Score, the REAL Score you gave it was a 4/10. Then again, if you feel a 2/10 is good, I dont mind.

I do not include Graphics in my score.

The average is correct.

4+1+1=6

6/3=2

So.

Scores don't have to average out anyway. That would basically be giving all aspects (gameplay, graphics, etc.) equal importance.

You gave the Graphics a ten when the Pros listed "Graphics are OK, but leave much to be desired."

Whoops. Reviewing error.

Well, I'm not about to go and change it. It's a very small contradiction and doesn't really matter.
