Very nice use of colors and shading.

Are you able to make tilesets from requests?

I generally don't because then I'd get all sorts of requests. I've had that happen to me before.

As I said before, great job on this. The wheel animation is really fluid, and the overall train spriting is very well done.

Very well done. The shading and texture are really nice. Good use of the palette as well.

Damn, these Thwomps look awesome! Remind me of Four Swords Adventures to be honest, they've got that sort of shading/style to them.

Either way, it's a great update to this tileset, and I'm definitely thinking of using it in my own project at some point, just gotta figure out where a Thwomp themed level would fit lol.

Thx, I do plan on releasing this on Wohl's forum with the new coded thwomps. (I didn't code them, but I'll leave credits in the pack regardless) I'm actually really proud of these because they took me FOREVER lol. Faces are not easy to make, especially the cheeks. I must have spent hours trying to get those right lol

"Phanto's tunnel of-a doom! Very scary!"

More like the Temple of Doom. The only thing missing is good old Indie

Nice background! Definitely seems like one that'll work very well with your Phanto temple foreground. Also provides a nice bit of variety compared to the usual SMB 2 version of this BG.

It's always nice to have more options lol

Ayo SAW reference?

Nah, I wasn't really referencing anything, but I can understand where you got that idea from.

I'd say that the colors are fine actually. It matches the SMW style very well. Pretty good use of hue shifting as well. With darker backgrounds, detail is less visible, so you won't see absolutely everything especially not at a distance. Maybe the green one has a bit too much contrast, but I'm sure there's another option in the SMW palette to choose from.

Yes, indeed

I'm planning on making backgrounds myself, and yeah, it took a lot of practice to get antialiasing down, but after a lot of trial and error, it started turning out well.

I'm really surprised these haven't gotten any comments yet. These are all really good and I'm a big fan of the parallax layers

I'll do them once i have time.

Well, I mean, slopes aren't really necessary for underwater, especially since you can't really slide, but if you want to, feel free lol

Oh hey, I remember this theme from your SMBX graphics pack. The version there looked really good already...

But this one looks even better. Very unique setup for a castle, and one which is made far more interesting (and mystical feeling) by the different coloured versions of tiles, chandeliers, blocks etc here. It's definitely perfect for a level with Kamek as the boss for sure!

Yeah, the older one needed a remake desperately. I wasn't satisfied with the original. The color scheme was off, and it had a grainy texture. The fence also didn't turn out that great on that other one. I'd say that I finally made one that I'm satisfied with. If anything, I could have maybe made the colors a bit more vibrant, but aside from that, yeah, it turned out nice. I also needed to update it for the collab project that I'm still working on. Thx for the feedback!

Slopes are a bit strange, but aside from that, it looks pretty good. I'd say it's a good fit for that style as well.

I made a way better world map tileset. You can find it here:

Also not an April Fools joke.

I figured I'd do one since I was doing different mario kart tracks. I agree about the cheese triangles - if I was doing smb3 style I would do more detail and no black line in the center, but with these mw style tiles I was going for the big bush from smw, which has a black line and a flat appearance.

Ah, I see, well for a bigger sprite, that would make sense, but with a smaller sprite, it's kinda convoluted. Either way, it gets the job done
