"Also time was eliminated and SILVER STAR levels were made easier." That was all I needed to hear to convince me to play this again. Time limits in every level was more of a frustration than a challenge before.

Overall, this is looking to be a very good game! One thing I especially like is the amount of detail put into the design of each level, the game plays and controls very well (largely due to the use of the Drag engine) and the selection of music is good.

Also, I recommend only having those Silver Star signposts in the earlier levels, so that the player has the challenge of finding them themselves in more difficult levels.

EDIT: I've found two bugs with the Minigame House. Firstly, it took away 100 coins from me when it said it costs 50 coins, and when I grab my prize from the chest, an constant supply of Fire Flowers keeps coming out of it! See here: http://www.mediafire.com/convkey/a251/itahfy9uusv3o4kzg.jpg

Woah! I must have screwed something up when I was editing the GM for the demo... I'll fix that item glitch ASAP! As for the coin thing it should take away 100 coins I must not put it on the coin sign. Silly me. :P Thank you for giving my game a second chance and I'm sure that this version is WAAAAAAAYYYYY better than v1. Thanks for the support! Also how is dimensions going?

We're only human; we make mistakes, right? About Dimensions, it's still not quite done yet, but lucky all I really need to do is the levels, which I've done about 80% of. It should be complete by early next year. Thanks for asking!

I actually get happy when people inspire from games I made. But your Toad Town stage looks extremely similar to the Mushroom Town stage from my game, Mario & Luigi's Coin Chaos.
http://i.imgur.com/KnmTE6u.png
I suggest you to change design of that stage.

Personally, this feels a bit too much like Super Mario World, and not enough like Super Mario 64, or something else. The level design is geared a tad too much towards platforming, and not enough of "combat" (which is, more or less, the same as SMW's).

Well.... The genre does say "Platform"

I just facepalmed so hard, I cracked my skull.

First off, you cannot make a 2D game feel like a 3D game; it just doesn't work. Second, Mario games are best known for platforming; the main games are part of the platforming genre. Third, the only inspiration from 64 is the Power Star system; the fact that you can play the level multiple times with a different goal each time. In short, the gameplay is SUPPOSED to feel like a 2D Mario game, with elements from a 3D Mario game adapted into the 2D gameplay style.

Yea this glitch was going on in the original DragezeeY Engine 7 and I can't fix it yet. I can fix it later once a more stable version of CE8 comes out. BTW you're not the only one who found this.

O_O *facepalm* It's a ...Mario game. *facepalm* You should edit this comment --it makes you look stupid, no offense. Not that I'm saying you are, I was just a taken aback at this comment.

Pretty awesome! Better than the first version. Also, just three problems:
You can walk into the water off the bridge near the first level.
And you can't get back.
The second little problem, If you save there, you'll stay there. That means that if I needed one more star and this happened, I'd have to start over. Maybe send Mario to the area of the level he was in, or just fix the problem?
Anyway, very nice game!

Wait hold on a second please be a bit more descriptive. So I'm assuming this is on the map, correct? But what do you mean is it like a collision error or what... I need more details... I don't know what you mean to send Mario to the area of the level since no one else has had this glitch. But please be a bit more descriptive or send my some screenshots or a video.

Oops, sorry, forgot to tell you. Yes, I meant on the map. And also, when I was saying you could send him to the map, I meant that if you save after you go into the water, you'll be stuck in the water forever because you saved there.

More like -this- comment makes -you- look stupid. Why do you care about his opinion? Not that I'm saying it's all about combat, but seriously, if you think it's a stupid comment, don't make yours look stupid too by adding those 2013 *facepalm* signatures. Also, why would you say you mean no offense and say it makes him look stupid? Anyway, why don't you just give a comment on the game first and then correct somebody? I just don't get it.

Oh ok know I realized what you were talking about. :P Okay, there was no collision which would allow you to go to the water. I just fixed that and there is a way to get back. Just need to find it, it isn't one-way collision. Thanks for pointing this out :P

Whoops, double comment.
Great game, but it just has so many bugs! I guess that's because of the engine, or different physics.
So far, I've 100%ed the first four levels. I encountered a couple of strange glitches/other. Here's a list that I've found out so far:

-several typos (mainly commas)
-(both!) minigames glitch, the small chest spams items infinitely (picture?)
-Purple Coin minigame costs 100 coins, falsely labeled as 50 coins
-getting hurt evem when atop enemy (COMMON!)
-enemy walked at me while pulling up grass, got hurt, and if properly "timed", Mario gets stuck on his animation of holding his hands up. even when there's nothing there. I couldn't do anything except walk and jump. Entering a room/dying makes him go back to a normal state (picture?)
-*managed to make a coin slowly move to the right and up, ignoring all collision
-*error when entering lvl 3 (EDIT: did again in lvl5, but actually crashed! said something about something not existing)
-gravity of kicked Koopa Shells strange
-managed to get out of bounds with raccoon tail
-if running and quickly changing directions, therefore causing the "friction" sound, and at the same time talking to a Toad, the "friction" sound keeps going infinitely.
-Red Coin Challenge: SOMETIMES, after getting all 8, then death, the counter will keep going (first re-collected Red Coin pops up 8, gives item and other Red Coins disappear)

I would really like changeable controls. I often mix up Z and X.

- Typos I can fix.
- Minigame glitch only in demo v2 version. (Must have screwed something up when I was editing the game for the demo. I'll fix it asap)
- Coin problem must have forgotten to edit the sign. It is suppose to be 100 coins.
- The Pickup glitch is not my problem that is a fault with Drag/Cat's Engine, it will be fixed once CE8 is out of dev.
- The Veggie/Enemy Coins is a problem with Drag/Cat's Engine again. Will get fix when CE8 is out of dev.
- Level 3 Error? I believe you didn't crash with level 5 it is something with a ID glitch there is nothing I can do to fix that because it pops up randomly and I can't seem to fix it.
- Koopa Shell gravity is something I tried multiple times to fix yet it never worked out properly.
- How'd u get out of bounds... What level was it?
- That's really not too much of a problem I know this isn't just in my game. But I'll fix it anyways.
- Red Coin Problem it's a bug from DE7 and I don't know how that happens but sadly I wasn't able to fix it. (You know what I'm going to do.)
- Changeable controls will be in next demo.
Thanks for giving my game a try I didn't realize there were quite a bit of bugs. I'll fix them asap.

Dude, can you possibly make it so a game over takes you to the last save point but with 5 lives (or however many the default is)? I saved with 1 life left and I'm getting constant game overs. also, the 1UP in the shop is honestly way too expensive.

-OK. It's not that important, but it's nice.
-The minigame glitch was kinda useful actually... I got my lives to max. You could give more prizes, or you could give different difficulties, i.e. Dig! would have more holes, more prizes.
-I also remember that the Toad said twas 50 coins.
-Alright. Good thing I had like 80 lives.
-It doesn't break the game, but it can be bad in some cases. It's OK.
-It didn't seem to do anything in Level 3, but now I can't enter Level 5! I've restarted the game a dozen times, gives the same error, after choosing which star you want to get. I've 100% levels before that, and got the 3rd star of this level, (so I have 13 stars) then the errors started. The 3rd star I can still enter. The problem could be my crappy PC and/or the engine. I can send you the error.
-It's understandable, not every engine has perfect physics.
-It's easy. You didn't add enough collision walls. It was in the very end of Level 5, Stormy Cliffside, where the crash happens.
-It was kinda annoying, but as you said not a problem.
-OK.
-Yay.

Also, considering it's called "Demo", that means your game is gonna cost money when it's finished, right? Otherwise the name is kind of incorrect.
Oh, and the Shop items are *WAY* overpriced. It'd still be something to consider about even at half of the price.

The full game is not gonna cost money, only App Store apps do. MFGG's content is free of charge (especially sprite sheets). The bottom of the site says it is a NON-PROFIT site.

Can you make it possible to not have to always get a power-up every single time I go back into the saved file? In fact it happens with coins too. It saves star and level progress, but not power-up and coin progress. Can you fix that in the next demo?
