General Commentary and Game Overview
Super Mario Fan Galaxy is a pretty basic Mario game with a galaxy theme. You'll encounter all sorts of fun, gravity bending worlds where you'll have to wall-jump, high-jump, ground-pound, kill the enemies and more to get through. The game includes lots of awesome fan-made graphics.
 
Pros +Lots of galaxies with different themes
+Lots of moves that are made good use of
+Logical health system
+Great level design
+Pretty good bosses
+A good amount of great music
 
Cons -It's easy to slip and screw up jumps
-Sometimes the gravity goes the wrong way
-Can get frustrating
-Little variety in enemies
-Little variety in power-ups
-The music can be annoying
-Each galaxy has only one star
-Lacks friendly NPCs
 
Impressions
Gameplay

 The gameplay is basic, yet fun. The simple formula of stomping Goombas, collecting coins, and bumping blocks is as fun as ever, and the awesome gravity effects and level design design that manipulate special jumps only add to the fun. It lacks variety in enemies and power-ups though, and it's hard not to slip and control your jumps. Additionally, the game can get frustrating.
 
Graphics

 The graphics look awesome. They're designed intelligibly and have great shading and none of the sprites clash or have different pixel size.
 
Sound
7 / 10
 The sound effects are normal, and they sound really good. A lot of the MIDI music sounds as good and maybe even better than the originals from Mario Galaxy. Others sound bad and can get unbearably annoying.
 
Replay
7 / 10
 There's a good amount of replay value here. There are lots of comet stars to collect and it's fun enough to make you want to play it again. But, it lacks secrets, and each galaxy has only one star.

 Super Mario Fan Galaxy is an awesome fangame with awesome graphics, awesome gameplay and awesome level design. Download this game now and you'll be glad you did.
