General Commentary and Game Overview
Karate Mario is a game, where Mario has taken up yet another proffesion - Karate Master. Sounds stupid? Well, read on to find out.

Pros Original idea, plenty of moves, great gameplay.

Cons Sprites have been used many times before, basically no music.

Impressions
Gameplay
8 / 10
This is the most positive part of this game. Everything runs smoothly, with very little glitches. Mario has plenty of attacks, that are all pulled off brilliantly, and very nice special effects accompany them too. The enemies move like they should, and the game feels just about right. One thing that needs ajusting is the wall jump, but other than that, it's top notch.

Graphics
7 / 10
All of your favourite Mario SNES games are here, AGAIN. Luckily though, this time it doesn't really matter, since the Mario is edited, and the bowser looks a lot better. Don't be discouraged by the SMW and SM:AS clashing, as you don't notice it straight away.

Sound
5 / 10
Having no music except the Bowser battle, KM is restricted to just plain Mario sounds. If you've ever played a 3D version of Mario, you've probably heard these before, but luckily, they aren't as repetative as other games.

Replay
6 / 10
Having both a "Raid Bowser's castle" and a "Kill as many enemies as possible" function, this game is worth playing again, but sadly, with only 1 level, you may get bored after a while.

Final Words
8 / 10
Karate Mario is definately a great game to play. I can only hope that the full version has more levels, and a few bugfixes.
