Can someone arrest hdtv? He's a boring user. KirbyLover2018 and xXEmmanXx are better!

My thoughts exactly.

Harassment of other members like this will not be tolerated. Either stop or I will push for you both to be muted on the main site.

I don't like that you stole Kopejo's pipes. You recolored them and didn't even give credit. For shame.

This "evidence" is extremely weak and coincidental. Most pipes I've seen are shaded exactly this way. Not to mention removing a whole sheet because the pipes are similar is just plain silly.

It's a Mario pipe, it's not like there are many ways to sprite them.

This is a cute game, love the graphics! Is the Cheep-Cheep that chases you supposed to be a redesign of a type of Cheep-Cheep or a new enemy? I'm just curious. I looked through Mario Wiki, but I couldn't find anything that looks like them.

The enemy Cheep Cheep was my own design, just wanted something that looked poisonous and different enough from the player Cheep Cheep! :)

yet this still gets accepted despite having no use in any fangame

"This spritesheet is an as-is conversion of Thunder Dragon's Mario 64 Sprite Pack, originally uploaded as a Clickteam Sprite Library dating back to at least September 26th, 2003.

Some directions of the "8 direction Mario" in the library that aren't seen here are just horizontal flipped from what is displayed in this sheet.

All credit belongs to Thunder Dragon. Project Ex-Lib exists solely to catalog and celebrate MFGG's history while ensuring the graphics are accessible to those who do not have access to Clickteam products!

Yeah, no. I read the explanation for why this should be on this site and I don't agree. It's a bad rip, no excuses.

Your opinion is noted. Thanks for your input.

Though if you really did read, you might realize it's not my "bad rip" and therefore I'm not "making excuses".

Ripped graphics were not as common back then as they are today and were not as advanced or well done.

The point of Project Ex-Lib is to convert these from Clickteam libraries so that people can take a look at our history without having to download a Clickteam product to do so.

I can see anti-aliasing issues and the shading isn't the greatest.

Aside from that, I'm not sure what you would use these for at such a large size and the sheet feels rather incomplete compared to the large variety of Mario Party spaces there actually are.

Otherwise, a decent effort.

If you're going to put that into a bigger game... Seems like an intermission between areas, that sounds like a good idea?

*nods* that is what I have intended.

You did say this was one mini game to a whole entire game that is being developed.

What annoys me about this game is the top down feature + the boo that comes after you. I probably would have made everything about timing.

I don't want to be an ***hole but this mini game didn't seem to be worth the upload.

It is about timing with the boo, maybe you just didn't play very well. If the top down feature annoys you so much, I can only guess that you kept coming down on spikey bones. To be honest, you are being an asshole about it. This game won the minigame competition and it is a D-E-M-O. If you don't think it's worth the upload, then don't waste my time by commenting on it as I could care less whether you think it is worth an upload or not.

Honestly, you need to work on your reviews for the future. This is needlessly short. You also listed pros and cons without mentioning them in greater detail in the "meat" of the review.

For example, you mentioned that you had a problem with both the level design and physics but didn't go into any specifics regarding either. You didn't even mention music in the Sound section nor how it might have annoyed you.

I'm actually surprised that this review was accepted with how short it is.

+ Good content
- Short game
- Annoying game play
= I didn't really enjoy it.
I would suggest to add more to this "mini" game.
Have a nice day!

Short game? Did you miss the following as seen above? "Completion: Demo"

Also, how does it annoy you?

I like the graphics and some of the gameplay mechanics but some of the music is irritating and so is the fact that there are no checkpoints... meaning if you die, you start all over at the beginning of the level... again and again and again. So I quit.

This isn't a bad game, just not my cup o' tea.

lol, pretty cool. I like how you tried to make it all 8-bit, but like kind of failed, but whatever, It still looks cool. I kind of wish he had a chin, but at the same time I kind of like it the way it is. Keep it up man!

I used the NES Megaman sprites as reference and used the colors and limitations sir. Explain yourself.

Double comment.
Well, it looks a lot like Paper Mario style, but the outline is supposed to be thicker on the outside and it's supposed to look completely flat. Anything that sticks out toward the player... Well, if it sticks out it isn't flat.

EDIT: Like the bowtie.

Umm I don't see how it sticks out.

And I had a Paper Mario sprite for reference.
