SMW-esque Camera By: Blutorus
A camera system that was made to mimic the one used in Super Mario World. As of now, it only supports horizontal scrolling (there is actually vertical scrolling, but it's not the one used in SMW), but I may add a vertical scrolling version in the future. Credit is appreciated, but not necessary.
Target Applications: GMS

(in case you can't tell from the gif, it's glitching back and forth)

EDIT: Put this at the end of the code:

x=round(x)
y=round(y)

It's not perfect and you may get a jitter ever now and then, but it should work almost flawlessly now.

I should've posted this way earlier, but I still should make this announcement.

Friendly Dictator and I have unfortunately been unable to fix the problems he was having. However, this is because the game was being run at 30fps, not 60fps.

So, to anyone looking to download this in the future, make sure your game is compatible with a 60fps setting!
