General Commentary and Game Overview
Super Mario PC is a very interesting game. This is something that I would want to play on Nintendo 64, if the graphics were 3D. However, this may not be worth playing if people are busy with other activities in life.

Pros Very rare midis
Unusual styled graphics
Smooth and challenging engine

Cons Plain looking worlds
Lacking many sound effects
Repetitive Midis

Impressions
Gameplay
8 / 10
If you have nothing better to do, this game is actually fun and challenging. The underground level is one of those levels which are fun and challenging, but because of the 1-up limit, it poses as very troublesome. Personally, I have not finished this game yet; however, by the looks of it, I was not anticipating very many bosses.

Graphics
6 / 10
The colors of the graphics are sort of plain, especially the backgrounds; however the eerie looking colors give it a twist, especially the greenish blue sky, and Mario's purple overalls. Now that is original.

Sound
8 / 10
There are very few sound effects, mostly limited to grabbing an item and bouncing on springboards, considering they are not too shabby. I like the midi that plays in World 1 the most. It sounds like a xylophone playing an F sharp because of how low the octave is, even though the song is supposed to be in E flat. I could not decipher where it could be from. I was thinking one of the Donkey Kong games?, because of the tropical instruments. I have never played Donkey Kong, but it does not seem to be on any of those midi lists so far. Anyways, there should have been a wider variety.

Replay
6 / 10
If the levels were frustrating to you, I would recommend focusing on your priorities before playing games... unless you are researching ideas for some odd reason. On the contrary, this game is still interesting.

Final Words
8 / 10
This game does have a twist, and I would consider trying it out; however it should not interfere with your priorities, if you have them.
