That's because they're edited from an awful pirate.

no offence but in smb 16 bit luigi was kinda fatter looking then usual like in these sprites he is still skinnier than mario with a different head (the head was ripped from smb3 and slightly reshaped) if you can read i made these edits in the style of mario all stars' smb3 which means fatter luigi, maybe you should read descriptions

Well, actually i did read the description. I just wanted to say my opinion. I'm sure i couldn't have made them better anyway.

To tell you the truth, I think these look fantastic. Don't know why, just something about them...
Great job, though ;)

Excuse me? Why would someone's ability to give criticism be proportional to one's amount of submissions?

These are terrible. There is no C+C I can give to these besides telling you to re-do it. Stop making excuses and accept that we will be harsh on you.
If the Pirate's sprites were bad itself, why would you go and make it worse? That's no excuse! And submission amount has nothing to do with criticism, what are you? A 5 year old?

How does this stuff get accepted anyway?!

I think this looks like what the pirate would look like in 16-bit, therefore you did a good job; even if the sprites are bad.

Oh, these are from a Pirate? If so, there are just shading problems, rater than sprite problems. Such as Banding, pillow-shading, and no light-source.

Exactly. Why would someone have to submit something to criticize another submission?
