General Commentary and Game Overview
In Mario's Paper Grab, Paper Mario grabs coins that rain from the sky. Hoo-wee. There's some nicely rotated enemies for him to dodge, and some cool powerups to collect and store, and some Flower Point so you can use badges. But you can't save your High Scores!
This is quite a good first game. No glaring bugs, unlike a lot of first games.

Pros Lots of different enemies
Nice sprite rotation
Nice animation for Mario
Varied powerups, like a Super Health or a Stone Cap
Cool badges that turn enemies into coins or hearts
A cool translation of Paper Mario's badge system to a Falling Items game
A cool variable damage system that makes you have to strategize which enemy that will least damage you

Cons No High Scores!
You don't get invincibility after you get hit
No unlockable skins or stages to spend your coins on
No new enemies appear to at least Round 11
Flower Points are too rare unless you want to use up one of your precious powerup slots
You may be forced into wasting your FP on a badge you don't want because an enemy is in the way
Enemies can trap you, forcing you to use a Stone Cap or get hurt
The Clefts don't look very good rotating

Impressions
Gameplay
7 / 10
The collect the coins gameplay starts out good, but it grows a bit weary after 10 rounds or so. Unfortunately, if you get stuck in a group of enemies and Mario can't escape quickly enough, you better hope you have a Stone Cap in one of your powerup slots or you'll have to take the hit. And if you recover right when an enemy is on top of you, you take damage again!

Graphics
10 / 10
Perfect! No clashing or graphics that stick out, just Paper Mario Nintendo 64 nostalgia.
Small thing, maybe you should replace the Cleft with a Boo or something, the Clefts don't rotate as well as spherical enemies like Fuzzies, Chomps, Bloopers, and Ruff Puffs.

Sound
7 / 10
Nice midi of Koopa Bros. battle. But Mario's voice is too quiet, and the Classic Nintendo death and gameover sounds don't really fit.

Replay
4 / 10
Oh no! There's no High Scores table to save your High Scores on! I believe Game Maker has a default High Scores table?
I'm afraid the gameplay isn't much better, because the setting and enemies don't change after you win a few rounds.

Final Words
7 / 10
A fun way to kill five minutes - but the gameplay gets a bit long in the tooth.
And why doesn't it have a High Scores Table?

That's awfully generous for an arcade-style game lacking a highscore board and a change in difficulty.

Well it appears to me that there indeed have more enemies higher round you get, and reason I give a high score is because it is his first game.
