If you play the game straight from the zip folder, it's bound to crash.

Actually, there's a hack of SMB1 that basically turns it into SMB Special. So superstar is...the third? To "remake" this?

The fact that Luigi's "Yay!" and "Let's a Go!" are screechy, is because I placed a DPCM modulator to the sample. DPCM is the
sample system used by the NES, it allows you to play samples, like voices and drums, yet it has a low quality, so to give the "NES" vibe
I'll keep with the voice like that.

When you did load the game on the pursuit scene, it actually returned to the same level. Yep, if you check out, all of the levels after Nothingland I use
the same "WORLD" HUD.

And the "typo" But not any nothing, is referring to "not any KIND of 'nothing'"

Yep, thanks for your review, I really liked it, and get your hopes up to include most of your suggestions to the final release :3

The thing is, the voices sound screechy nonetheless, and I don't like it.

The typo says "notihing". That's what I was referring to.

Here's what happened: I was on the level with Strong Bad chasing Luigi via cars, then I got a Game Over. Then I loaded the game again. And then it turns out it loaded me on the first car level, that doesn't have Strong Bad chasing Luigi.

Lastly, you are welcome. If there's anything this game represents, it's that you are constantly improving. Looking back at when you were on yoyo, all you did were shameless Hello clones basically. But here, in these recent times, you're making much more of an effort, and for that, I will be awaiting the final. :)

It can be a short time, or it can be awhile. It depends on the quality of your submission.

I honestly forgot that was why it could take awhile or not.

Must have been because of my rather lukewarm submissions. XD

Hi, I'm new to the submissions things and I was wondering, how many time does it take to get your stuff posted? I did upload something the last week and it didn't appear in the today's update. It says it's queued.

It....takes a while. I forgot how long, but it takes a while... :/

Although there can be exceptions to the rule.

Also I reported the review of user "Jack-of-all-games", because he said: "you can't beat the first boss", and that's NOT TRUE. He also said: "the game is unbeatable". And that's NOT TRUE.
User Jack-of-all-games forgot that the STAFF CAREFULLY played the game before making it available!!!!!

Whatever.

Funny though, you constantly bitch about games using the Hello engine, yet 4 or 5 of the 7 games you have on this site are made with the Hello Engine, and what's worse is that it's the one that gets the most hate. Any way you slice it, that's over half of your submissions, and don't give me that "I don't post games on here anymore" crap. I don't care whether you're currently making games, I care that you're giving whiny rants that only talk about the bad aspects of games, no matter how old.
Once again though, if you want to give me a link to these other games, then feel free. I can't wait to see them, SMBMM.

As for your "final words", the goomba being unstompable should have been on your mind, what with all the other unstompable enemies in the game. It may not have been obvious, but it should have been on your mind as a possiblity, especially after 3 prior levels of gameplay. What did you do, fly over everything?

Your inability to attack however, comes from the fact that you didn't watch the in-game tutorial that happens before the game actually starts. It states outright that you use the S key to use one of, or a combination of 3 different powers. That's pure negligence on your part, my friend.

I at least tried something original to add into the Hello SMB1 engine. The only real problem with the game was that I kept requiring players to HAVE to hurt themselves to get by some areas. Oh and jumping.

My games are all over yoyogames and gamejolt, under the name of Jack-of-All Games.

Well then. I still say that either way, this game still deserves the 3/10 that is the overall rating anyway.

You still didn't tell me where in THIS game it's impossible to complete though, then again your games show that you're not really in a position to talk about difficulty, because you seem to be actively trying to make your games nigh-impossible for people to beat.

1) It's right on my review of this very game. In fact, the "final words" say it.

2) I think you're contradicting yourself here. You say I try making my games nigh-impossible, yet you say games that couldn't be beaten shouldn't be on the site. So explain how my games made it on there then if they were considered impossible.

3) I haven't made a fangame since 2011, and I've made more, non-Mario-related games elsewhere. So I recommend you not say I try to make each one of my games so brutal. Even so, Super Mario's Moonwalker (Which I'm pretty sure had multiple difficulty modes), Kart Wars, and Ultimately Hardcore Mario Quiz are indeed not even close to "nigh-impossible".

Tell me where exactly this game isn't unbeatable, because I doubt it would have been accepted if it was.

There are several games accepted on here that were unbeatable

Take...

Super Mario Bros Lost Quest
"Super Mario Galaxy 2"
KoopaKingdom's mansion games?

...for example

A full game that isnt beatable gets an instant 1/10 from me.

Besides, even if it is, I'd give the game a 3/10 or somewhere around it.

And everything is possible in a dream.

That doesn't excuse anything. I'm surprised you didn't even take note of how it's not beatable at all.

It's not even a game. It's the usual clone.

WHY CAN'T PEOPLE BE CREATIVE WITH THIS ENGINE!?

I tried with the SMB1 Engine.

Since that was a hit-and-miss effort, I think I could handle things better next time with something like this engine......

Just disable the run button and lose the Mario voice clips and I would already have a much better "clone". Why people never even think of doing this before rushing these out the door is beyond my knowledge.

"a lot of very interesting levels and excellent design."

A little bit of a bold claim, don't you think? Especially considering how the game itself really is
