Most certainly NOT NSMB styled at all.

It uses gradient shading, which doesn't make it look 3-D at all, and the lightsource contradicts Mario's and the Goomba's.

Not to mention, it is a little too small for a Kuribo's Shoe.

Not NSMB style. Not very good either. But with a little more practice, you might get it someday.

Way too high contrast and does not fit in the style.

Well, I apologize everyone. NSMB is very hard to do in MS Paint. (that's the program I do the work on!) And yes, the sheet is small. To get used to a style like this could take a whiloe in Paint. That's what I meant when I said I suck at PC spriting.

Also, I know it may not fit the style, my apologies. But it took a while, hard effort, idea and brains. And THAT'S what counts.

Quote from Zero Kirby:
"A bit small for a Kuribo shoe"

Well, if you take the original shoe, you'll see that I edited over the original, so it should be the same size. Feel free to compare.

1) If you fully believe you are terrible at spriting, then why are you submitting? Not trying to be offensive, but seriously, that's a fairly faulty piece of logic. Also, several other people sprite in MSPaint as well, so you can't use it as an excuse.

2) Sure, that's what matters, but if you still think the end product is not good, then don't submit it. It's nice to see you trying, though.

3) Really, because it seems small compared to the models used in NSMB. It might work perfectly for SMB3 but for NSMB, it's too small.

Okay.

1) Well, what I meant was, compared to other people, such as Paul ter Voorde for example. I suck compared to people like him. Also, when I see something I would like to see, I make it.

2) It's not wether or not I like the work myself, it's about making something that someone might use in games, comics, movies, fan art, etc. That's why I submit it.

3) I'll see if I can make it bigger. In the meantime, feel free to make it bigger yourself. That goes for everyone. Also, I simply pasted the shoe over the character, and I didn't see anything "stick out". It's probably one pixel too narrow, one pixel too low.

Horrible. That's all I can say. :/

Also, NSMB doesn't use sprites. Those little animations you see in the game are 3D models. Unless you make a Kuribo's shoe model, zoom out, and take a picture of it, it isn't in NSMB style.

Well, sorry I'm not Mr. Perfect.

All I can say is I did my best. I might update, but with all the bad comments I'm recieving, I might not. If you want to fix it up and call it your own, fine. I don't care.

Of course you're not. Nobody is. This is a great rip! Maybe not NSMB styled, but so what? It's still a great sheet! And what's more, this is the closest shoe to being to NSMB styled on the site!
