General Commentary and Game Overview

Mario vs the Koopas is a really good platformer game, but still a bit short and filled with crazy glitches.

Pros	-Music, definitely -Creative levels -Smooth movement
Cons	-Annoying glitches -Too hard at some places -Horribly rotated sprites -Messy title screen and story screen

Impressions

Gameplay 7 / 10	The game mostly plays very nicely and smoothly, and has a good variety of enemies. However, there are many glitches that make it a lot worse, for example enemies walk straight through brick blocks and sometimes get crazy at slopes. And, at least with me, Mario doesn't always jump when pressing jump key. This gets extremely annoying in the final battle. Gameplay gets a seven because of bugginess.
Graphics 8 / 10	Most of the graphics are good, some even amazing, but unfortunately nothing is perfect. Mario's head in the intro, red bullets bills and Bowser in the final battle are rotated simply horribly. Looks like a bit laziness there. Even the title screen looks like something done in a few minutes. It is simply awful. Graphics get an eight.
Sound 9 / 10	Sound is the best part of the game. Awesome music and ok sound effects, except the irritating SM64 sound when you get hit by an enemy. The cave music is a bit too quiet. Sound is nine.
Replay 2 / 10	I don't think I am going to play again, because there isn't anything new to find and completing already completed levels for nothing isn't very rewarding. Only playing a few levels to do this review. Two.

Final Words

With a bit polishing and bug fixing this could be one of the best games in MFGG.

This is a lot better than the other non-10 review. (Not implying that there's anything inferior about non-10 reviews for this game, of course.) I'm not sure I agree with the part about the title screen looking like it was done in a few minutes, but I'm not sure I remember what it was like, so....

Thanks! I was talking about the start and load buttons and the help screen with resized sprites. The artwork was pretty good.
