General Commentary and Game Overview
This game is good in terms of idea, but is too hard. The ending is also too rough, with no prompt that the gme is finished and just leaves the application window there with no response to any input. Mario also lacks a lot of moves considering this game is made after Galaxy and this is a full platformer.

Making a game too difficult is not a good way to keep gamers playng. It only makes them frustrated. Could be good, but there are still ome distance between this and the best games on this site.

Pros - Decent idea
- Original (although not perfect) graphics

Cons - Irresponsive control
- Unable to skip time waster
- Mario lacks a lot of moves considering this is a post-Galaxy game
- Too hard to be called a Mario game
- Mario Kart music in Brawl does not have perfect looping

Impressions
Gameplay
6 / 10
Basically good if not for the time-wasting map. Why warp the player back to the previous stage when losing? Mario doesn't move as fast as in SMB3, so this is not a good thing to imitate. In fact, the SMB3 map itself is pretty flawed as it does not show anything about where the player can reach or not. Controls should be more responsive too, and the game itself should not be this hard.

Graphics
7 / 10
Original graphics are always welcome. They could use a better revamp though, as graphics serve a lot to show what the enemy should be. Fireballs shoud be represented better to show the collision better so that mario won't get hurt by merely nearing the fire.

Sound
6 / 10
Needs better BGM looping, volume adjusting for individual sound effect and a more unified music style. Just snathing BGMs from everywhere is not good.

Replay
4 / 10
Too hard and time-wasting to worth replaying.

Final Words
6 / 10
I can see why people give this game a good score, but while it imitate a lot on the Mario games, there are a lot of flaws seen in the game, especially on its insane difficulty and using up a lot of time to view cutscenes again and again. It would be good if the game offers customizations on difficulties and other aspects, but since this game did not, I have to stick to a low score.
