General Commentary and Game Overview
Ah, Super Mario Bros. Dimensions. One of my favorite fan games of all time, and one of the few fan games proving that engine-made titles can actually be decent.

Anyway, let's talk about the game. Super Mario Bros. Dimensions is a direct sequel to Super Mario Bros. 3*, my personal favorite Mario game of all time. It uses the same art style as SMB3 and similar (though not perfect) gameplay physics with new power-ups, new gimmicks, new boss concepts that actually prove challenge in comparison to official Mario titles, and awesome 8-bit music (speaking of which, where did that Starman remix come from? It really makes me want to dance, but it doesn't last long). The levels are beautifully designed and have plenty of fair challenge, and everything new and unique to this game just makes the experience all the more enjoyable.

*In fact, it used to be called Super Mario Bros. 4[/].

Pros +Ripped, edited, AND custom SMB3-styled graphics that are very nice to look at

+8-bit remixes of music from other games, as well as music straight from certain NES and GameGear games (maybe GameBoy, too; I'm not entirely sure)

+Fun and challenging stages and unique and original power-ups

+Meaningful and purposeful dialogue that properly tell a story (take note of this, Hello)

+And most importantly, a unique and original gimmick that really makes this game stand out among other engine-built games, and fan games in general

Cons -A few minor glitches here and there (a couple of which I mentioned in the Comments section of this submission); some of them were in the original Drag engine

Impressions
Gameplay
8 / 10
It's incredibly fun to play this game. A lot of fan games even to this day and age seem to be developed with the classic games in mind, and this game is no exception. And in my opinion, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Again, there are some minor glitches that make this game less than perfect, but not by much. A fun time to be had by all.

Graphics
10 / 10
While a lot of fan games tend to use SMB3 graphics and/or art style, this is something that never really bothered me. And since this is a direct sequel to said game, it makes sense. The graphics are nice to look at, and the colors are sometimes bright, but never an eye-sore.

Sound
10 / 10
8-bit music and sound effects? Sign me up!!!

(PS you REALLY need to tell me where you got that Starman remix; it's rad as all hell.)

Replay
9 / 10
10/10 would play again gr8 b8 m8 8/8...

Okay, but seriously. Unlike most fan games, I don't really see this game as a "play it once and remove it from your hard drive" kind of game. More of a "play it once, take a break, come back to it later" kind of game.

Final Words
9 / 10
A fantastic game and sequel to my favorite Mario game of all time, and one of my favorite games in general. This is, without a doubt, well worth your time. Take a bow, Mr. LangtonLion64!
