Why did this get accepted?
How shouldn't it?

There's no point on commenting on it when it's exactly the same game - it's better, less convoluted and easier to maintain all reviews and comments on the original submission.
Point taken.

Why can't we comment on the lowres version :(

I agree with superyoshi99. This sounds almost exactly like the original.

If you're still up for it, I'll be releasing a low-performance version soon - it will eliminate the slow-down on your PC, and you'll actually be able to reach the full end of the game.
That'd be wonderful. er... wonderfuller.

Alright, Wiiboy, I will agree that it would be odd for your pc to slow down unexpectedly, since the game was fine up to that point. I have edited the description to give an appropriate warning for that sort of thing, so I do apologize for that. You have also stated that you now don't believe your computer is broken, so I will also leave you alone on this matter, as I hope you will do vice versa for myself.
....sorry. Apparantly I've caused some trouble. I know I said that I stated my computer was broken, but it's really not so that's my bad.

How exactly?

They are not designed or programmed in any way to impact your computer. The only thing those windows affect are themselves.

The only potential issue is the

console window slowing down your computer. That's because unlike the MMF2 applications, this one actually uses DirectX and pixel shaders. If you have any issues, the blame lies upon your computer's insufficient power to handle such an application (or you don't have the latest DirectX installed).

How should I know? All I know is that when that part happened, my computer suddenly slowed down and acting strange. idky.

Also I have direct x9.0c installed.

Thats not grounds for saying "you broke my computer" you know,

Saying, "this thing is running slow for some odd reason" or "I think you need to tone down the effects" is allot more helpful than saying "you broke my computer" which obviously didn't happen,
Well it sure seemed like it when I was playing it.

I think it's pretty obvious by now that I don't think my computer is broken.

your computer was always "back to normal"

do you really honestly think a virus infected your computer, or what
uh, no. I'm not saying it's an actual virus, but something like it. Something that changes your computer.

From the instant that scene happened with the two windows or whatever and to the closing of the game, my computer started acting retarded and performed very slowly.

great concept. also I love the spinning "start" thingy you have going on there. I used it for my game that's currently in development, if you don't mind.

That's not what NCFC is.

"Nintendo Community Fangame Convention" is like SAGE (Sonic Amateur Game Expo). Go check it out (the producer made a topic in our forum about it) to get an idea of what it's like. Essentially, it's for showcasing your fangame-in-progress/recently finished fangame.

But every year has had a minigame competition on it so far, so there might be one this year!
Ok, thanks. I was just wondering because some people talk about "winning" in the NCFC. I guess that was one of the competitions?

Also, could you link me to it? I can't find it on the forum.

Thanks, but how did it not cooperate? This would be good to know, since it implements a different program we haven't used and it'd be great to get some feedback for that.
Yeah, I kinda figured that after the game closed itself and my computer returned back to normal. Either way I think it should've done without it.

Sorry but this is just bad. The gameplay is bad. The story is bad. And the graphics are awful. This has nothing to do with the Mario series anyway. And that virus part was really uncool. You broke my computer with this game.

(it means I like illiterally)

Reminder that NCFC is coming up next month, so prepare your fangames, your teaching methods and your playing hands - after playing a bunch of them, you're probably going to get arthritis. And carpal tunnel. But it's so worth it
Wait, we have to program the games BEFORE the ncfc? I thought we had to wait for it then start programming like in the mgc. :( someone explain this to meee.

Nice. They look a little stretched, though.

I love the 3D in this. Just like PM64 itself.

This game is really confusing. :/

I read the help file and I was confused more.

@Linkfan415:

Why did you quote my comment without writing anything afterwards?

EDIT: Thanks so much for the update. I'm only at the title screen and looks like you took some of my advice. If I have the time, and if this is a good update, I'll edit my review.
