General Commentary and Game Overview
Brilliant. A "more mature" fangame that at it's core, looks and feels exactly like a real Mario game, whilst integrating elements, such as "Machine Gun" mode that truly enhance the gameplay experience.

Pros -Plays exactly like Mario World, you can run, fly, dive bomb, shoot fireballs and ride Yoshi! -New modes of Mario such as Machine Gun Mario that truly enhance the gameplay experience -Professional look and feel, you can get shot out of cannons, throw yoshi eggs -Koopa heads explode when you shoot them!

Cons -Nintendo never came up with this concept for SNES!! -Resized pixels sometimes look a little blocky

Impressions
Gameplay
10 / 10
Absolutely brilliant! This game delivers what the original Mario World did, and then some! Mario can run, slide, stomp and kick koopa shells, throw fireballs, jump on Yoshi, collect and throw eggs just like Yoshis Island, eat enemies and the list continues! New abilities are also available, such as fiery mario shooting fireballs of Yoshi whilst running! There are some collision issues, and I did witness a shell go through a wall, but these are minor elements that Henford will no doubt fix before release.

Graphics
8 / 10
This game contains some excellent spritework, from Nazi Soldiers to Bazooka men, all done in 16-bit Mario style, they look straight out of an official Nintendo game. Backrounds are excellent, and in full parallax which add to the authentic feel. The resized sprites look a tad blocky, and this detracts slightly from the score, but make no mistake, the graphics are excellent

Sound
9 / 10
A mix of authentic Mario sounds and music, with new dark music that really sets the mood. Marios gun in Machine Gun mode sounds great through a good speaker setup as well!

Replay
9 / 10
The game required a certain degree of skill, and has kept me entertained for the last few hours. I love it!

Final Words
10 / 10
This game almost too good, and I hope Henford finishes it soon before Nintendo orders a cease and decist.:P But seriously, look out for this, as it has the potential to be the greatest Mario fangame. Ever.
