General Commentary and Game Overview
Mushroom Pancakes is a deliberate, beautifully, and randomly crafted game that brings audience on their edge of the seat.

Despite some minor annoyances and bugs. Mushroom Pancakes have an extremely clever/offbeat entertainment and humor.

Pros +Original concept
+Nonstopping random offbeat comedy
+Mixed gameplay
+Custom/non-clashing graphics
+Well polished
+Goofy sound effects
+Acceptable music

Cons -Some severe lags (on certain levels and certain amount of play time) on my roommate's circa 2003 ancient-ware
-Some slight chance of rain (getting stuck in a wall)
-Boss can be very hard to beat

Impressions
Gameplay
10 / 10
Mushroom Pancakes mainly focus on its humor with 50% of the game as cutscenes, but that doesn't stop me playing. Just like Metal Gear Solid series where half of the game focus on cutscenes. But both Konami and SuperToad2k did a well job keeping the audience seated (maybe some popcorns.)

Gameplay is extraordinary fun, not just jumping around a bland level like those bad clones. You gets a chance to misplace your body, getting burned, getting yourself killed, party with death, getting toasted, switching your fashion, riding a space lubricator, eating space cheese and popsicle, fighting the reincarnated Bill Gates, and using multiple of Mario's heads for rockets. All I can say is: ingeniously funny.

Of all of the gameplay, the only thing I hassle upon it is serious lagging issues on pre-2005 machines. The other frustration I got is that there's a slight chance getting stuck on a ceiling.

Graphics
10 / 10
SuperToad2k gave us a refreshing custom drawn graphics that not only it never seem to clash, it's also fit the humorous atmosphere.

What really appealed me is some fancy eyecandy and that beautifully crafted underwater bubble (secret) level.

Sound
9 / 10
Despite that MIDI is not a good choice for fangaming, SuperToad2k do have a clever way putting those satisfactory MIDI soundtracks into the game and keeping up the goofy level.

Sounds are well executed, I really love those silly voices that really maximize the random comedy standard.

Replay
9 / 10
Nonstopping fun and wide variety of platformer gameplay plus some replayable levels and a secret level. This game definitely hit the spot except some frustration building levels.

Final Words
10 / 10
Mushroom Pancakes is a deliberate, beautifully, and randomly crafted game that brings audience on their edge of the seat.
