These are pretty damn good. I like the flag-holding sprite as well because it's unique.

These are sick. They look like they were ripped from a retail game. EDIT: Sick is a good thing./Not saying it looks like you stole them, saying they could be used in a professional game.

The yellow, IMO, looks a little too green (That is, yellow shell.) Other than that, flawless.

I can sense the effort you've put into those sprites. It's very well done. Just pointing some things... There are sprites that are pillowshaded (or looks like it). Fix that. Also, as geneyuss2 said, the yellow shell is kinda greenish. Also, you could animate the flag. Good work!

The shading looks kind of fluffy, and stands out as pillowed. Not half bad, though.
