General Commentary and Game Overview
Thunder Dragon makes his last fangame, and it's the sequel to Toad Strikes Back! Toad Strikes Back was one of the greatest games of all time, when it was released. Now, since this is supposed to be a "what if I made this in the early 2000's?" thing, but it doesn't mean it's going to worse than you think, right?

Impressions
Gameplay
9 / 10
It's just a Mario platform game, where you have a health system. But not only that, because you have power ups and they can power up if you get another of those (expect for Yoshi). However, the power-up Fire Flower looks a little useless if you compare it the powered-up hammer.

For the first time ever in a fan game (as far as I know), we have Blue Yoshi! You can ride on him once you get a pair of wings while riding Yoshi. The only downside though, is that he can be a little hard to control.

The level design is nice, because each one of them has their own gimmick, and any of them never felt bad. The bosses were even good and there is always a "Aha!" moment.

Graphics
10 / 10
The graphics are gorgeous and none of them clash, and almost all of them are custom. The world map is even good and is really imaginative, since Thunder Dragon appears to be a great artist.

Sound
10 / 10
The piano-style music is catchy and are memorable. They all feel fitting and never feel out of place. I even like the boss music.

Sound effects were nice too, and Toadette's voice doesn't feel annoying. Otherwise, sounds are great and the game doesn't even lack a single sound effect.

Replay
9 / 10
After beating the game, you'll want to look for the Switch Palace keys and hunt down all of the Mushroom Coins. And you can play levels at a museum once you get enough coins for them. But if you collect them all, you'll find a secret which you might like. However, those are only things to do for replaying the game.

Final Words
10 / 10
Toadette Strikes! tries to catch the feel of the early 2000's fan games, and it's not even bad!
